Spring cleaning is coming up soon in my house. It’s a pretty big event for me as I’m throwing things away, getting rid of old kids toys, clothes, household things I just don’t use or need and then scrubbing my house down completely! If you are making strides to have less commercial cleaners in your home, start off by making a simple orange peel cleaner. Here’s how I make mine. 1 quart jar and lid Orange peels from about 4-5 oranges White distilled vinegar that covers the peels. Spray bottle Steep the orange peels in vinegar for about 2 weeks. Strain out the oranges and put liquid into a spray bottle. I fill the rest of the bottle with water. Generally it’s supposed to be a 1:1 ratio but I eyeball measurements often. 😂 Thai spray seems to work just fine. Uses for homemade orange cleaners - clean windows and glass, countertops and tabletops, appliances, doorknobs and light switches. To me it takes away the old fashioned windex cleaner. Not your best friend’s TikTok Jacket! Going to see @mirandalambert at @billybobstexas for my birthday and this is pretty much THE thing to wear! Saw this rhinestone fringe jacket trend going around, but of course I had to make it hard on myself. Personally wasn’t a fan of the plastic rhinestone mesh + glue method, so I ordered real rhinestone trim from Amazon and got to sewing! Totally worth it!
