Our paramedics have now had their yellow fever vaccinations, and watching everyone prepare for what lies ahead makes me feel incredibly proud and excited.
We’re heading to Sierra Leone with open hearts, a willingness to learn, and a real desire to help wherever we can. Through education, sharing knowledge and working alongside communities, we hope to make a positive difference, even in the smallest ways.
For me, this is about people helping people. It’s about giving our time, sharing what we know, and remembering that sometimes the smallest things can make the biggest difference. 🌍❤️

Some of you may know that Sunrise Children's Services holds a very special place in my heart. ❤️
I first learned about Sunrise when I was given the opportunity to film a commercial for them. Since then, I've been blessed to film three commercials and learn more about the amazing work they do for children and families across Kentucky.
What started as an acting opportunity turned into something much bigger. It became a ministry that I truly care about. ❤️
Now I'm asking my friends, family, and followers to help me support Sunrise's Diaper Drive Derby!

Something as simple as a package of diapers can make a difference for a child or family in need.

Across MLSS, we have 900+ volunteers who give their time in so many different ways. From our daily soup kitchens to community projects and events, they help make everything we do possible.
Everyone has their own reason for volunteering, but what brings us together is the opportunity to help others and be part of something that makes a real difference in our communities.
Our volunteers are at the heart of MLSS. We simply couldn’t do what we do every day without them 🧡

While handing out free ice cream at the Rescue Mission of Roanoke, I had a conversation with a woman that I haven’t stopped thinking about.
And believe it or not, it was all about a pair of tweezers.
Something so simple that most of us probably don’t think twice about.
This journey is reminding me that kindness isn’t always about doing something big. Sometimes it’s about listening, paying attention, and showing someone that they matter.

A lady we previously supported has recently reached out to share the wonderful news that her circumstances have improved. She is no longer living on the streets and has been reunited with her family.
