Simple but seriously satisfying. -Cheese Horn £5.80 box of 2 Buttery, soft cake-like pastry with a sea salt cheese filling that’s lightly sweet and creamy. -Taro Puree Milky Bun £6.50 box of 2 Smooth steamed taro blended with cream for a rich, velvety filling that’s not overly sweet. -Taro Puree Bun £5.80 Box of 2 Freshly steamed taro with a natural earthy sweetness. LONDON CHINATOWN CHEAPEST BAKERY - @masterbunpastry is always my favourite chinese bakery!! I finally had the chance to try their popular chocolate & butter puff (£4.86) & omg the cream inside literally burst out like waterfall..🤣 chocolate crunch outside was so addictive like ferrero rocher with ice cream fillings and the size was too big🥹🥹 Please also get the 9 mini cream puff (£5.2) that was so soft and fluffy, we finished within 5 minutes. I dropped the ball on their tart last time.. so I get three different tarts to try this time and none disappoint!! The durian tart (£5.9) was the best with rich Musang King durian flavour, corn tart 🌽(£4.69)with creamy sweetcorn custard filling and the flakiest caramel croissant tart (£3.85). It’s hard to find durian desserts here and I think their durian milky bun (£8.5) was delectable with highly addictive sweet durian cream!!! The tiger skin taro roll (£6.2) is what I am dreaming about everyday💭it’s like a chicken floss Swiss roll cake with fresh taro inside!! YUMMIEST ROLL CAKE EVER!! 🇨🇳 A STAPLE IN CHINATOWN 🥯 @chinatown.bakery has always been my favourite, so whenever I’m in @chinatownlondon & I make sure to stop by to get 2-3 pastries ! Sweet or savoury, soft or buttery, Chinatown Bakery has a multitude of choices at an affordable price. 🤑 My 2 favourites for sweet, are their Bolo Bun (Aka Pineapple Bun) which is so delicious. 😋 I also love their Custard Bun as they are filled with a lot of yummy custard & are so soft ! 🐷 As for savoury, their Roast Pork Bun is incredibly tasty & I really like their Sausage Bun with the cheese and corns that I find quite addictive with the contrast of texture. Another item that I only get there is their Youtiao !
