Derbyshire Sector doing what they do best 🏍️🔥 Gav never falls short when it comes to planning these ride outs and today was another proper route from start to finish. Starting at HQ at The Beech Hotel, then heading over to Full Throttle Café for breakfast before taking on Snake Pass down towards Lady Bower Lake and finishing up in Matlock Bath. Proper roads. 📍 Heights of Abraham, Matlock Bath, DE4 3NT I visited @heightsofabraham with @clairemacblog last weekend and honestly, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but there is SO much more to do there than I anticipated. It really is a day out for the whole family with something for everyone, including: 🚡 Cable car rides with amazing views 🪨 Cavern tours ☕️ Cafe + restaurant 🌿 Plenty of walks 🔍 Exhibitions + loads of history to discover! The Masson Cavern tour was so interesting + eye opening and the guide taking us around was great too. The restaurant is really lovely, with fantastic views over the Peaks + a good menu. I went for a roast dinner Yorkshire pudding wrap - a real rogue choice but it was lovely 🥕🦃 If you’re looking for something to do in the Peak District this year and want something that’s easy to get to on train or by car, this is it!
