I’ve taken hundreds of photos in my career with many different cameras but the photos I’ve taken with the Hasselblad 907x, are unlike anything else. Not only does the @hasselblad 907x inspire me to get out there and shoot because of its unique design but the shooting experience and quality of images out of this camera, inspires me even more. Its medium format sensor captures a level of detail we can’t with other cameras and captures accurate true to life colour. #hasselblad #hasselblad907x #mediumformat

Capturing the Milky Way with 100MP of magic ✨ March marks the return of the Milky Way — so I drove over 300 miles to some of the darkest skies in the Southwest desert to put the Hasselblad X2D II 100C to the test. Medium format hasn’t traditionally been the first choice for astrophotography — too slow, too bulky, not built for high ISO. But that narrative is changing fast. With 100MP of resolution, over 15 stops of dynamic range, and that signature 16-bit Hasselblad color, the X2D II delivers a level of detail that’s hard to ignore. Pair it with a star tracker and Hasselblad’s new XCD 20-35mm, and the results are on another level. I was honestly not prepared for this camera. When I opened the files from the @hasselblad Hasselblad X2D II 100C with the XCD 35–100, I thought okay, high resolution, I’ve seen this before. But you don’t really get what 100 megapixels means until you zoom in. And zoom in again. And there’s still detail. It’s kind of absurd. It’s not just sharp. It’s like the image keeps unfolding the closer you look. And the colors… the skin tones are almost exactly what I saw in real life. I barely had to fight the file. That part surprised me the most.
