#Meetings
A lot of the mistakes I see at work aren't technical.
They come down to communication and confidence.
That's why this meeting update template can be so helpful. It takes the guesswork out of how to give an update to a group.

So what’s going on?” is designed to sound casual.
And that’s exactly the trap.
When a question feels informal — most women answer informally.
They lead with how they’re feeling, what’s been hard, what’s overwhelming them (it’s not wrong - just in the wrong place.)
☠️ Without knowing it they just got labeled emotional, unfocused, or not ready.
✅ Take control with one simple follow up: 👇🏻
💰 “Do you mean personally or professionally?”
This isn’t about your manager having bad intentions. It’s about you not knowing the conversation you’re actually in.
One simple phrase changes that and YOU control your narrative!
Your answer to that question is either positioning you or labeling you.
✅ Know the difference.
In it with you!
Lisa
