@norma_fitzroy , Fitzroy Norma is a neighbourhood restaurant in Fitzroy from chef-owner Ben, who grew up in France and named the restaurant after his Italian grandmother, who was a huge inspiration behind the food. Every Tuesday they do their cheeseburger Tuesdays The with glass of wine & frites for $35 🍷🤌🏼. We’ve been here a few times now and every visit I’m more impressed by what they’re putting out. There’s a really lovely mix of Italian and French influences throughout the menu, with everything feeling thoughtful without being overly complicated. Here’s an overview of what we tried: 💕 Beetroot salad: Fresh & great depth of flavour ❤️‍🔥 Scallops: Beautifully cooked, loved the citrus pangrattato & celeriac puree, best I’ve had in a long time 🍄 Truffle arancini: Crispy on the outside with a delicious truffle aioli 🥩 Vitello tonnato: One of those dishes that sounds simple but was so well executed with crispy capers & herbs 🍔 Tuesday cheeseburger: Their iconic wagyu cheeseburger with melted cheese and SO much secret sauce.
