Materials- Filament Decoupage Paper, Little Birdie Deco Magic Decoupage glue, Wooden Tray, MDF coasters, Little Birdie Gesso, Multi-surface paints, synthetic hair brush, Tinted Metallic Paint, Epoxy Art Resin, popsicle sticks, paper cups. . Step 1 - Apply one coat of White gesso to the Tray and coasters and let it dry. Apply Light yellow chalk paints to the coasters and set it aside. . Step 2 - Using Deco Magic Decoupage glue, apply evenly on to the Tray and coasters. Carefully adhere the filament Decoupage paper over the Tray. . Step 3 - Once done, apply another coat of Decoupage Glue and let it dry. Meanwhile, apply multi-surface paint to the left over areas. Step 4 - Apply one or two coats of Decor varnish to both. . Step 5 - Mix Resin in 2:1 ratio as mentioned on the bottle and add in some glitter (optional) and pour it carefully over the Tray and spread it evenly. Remove any air bubbles using Butane torch. . I have to remind myself when I create it’s not about the reel. It’s not about the content. I don’t do it for that. I don’t do it for this app. I do it for myself, and the client of course. I like to be in a certain headspace when I paint, and I used to feel like if I did mess up, it’s because I was recording. Half way through this video, I stood right in front of the camera and blocked myself working on two of the canvases. But oh well. So I showed you the end, that last bit of a blow out, in real time. After that it sat for two days to dry. I removed the blue painters tape from the back, and wanted to show you the dried piece with all that reflective metallic paint. It’s so beautiful in person.
