Yesterday, my husband and I had the honor of joining the Mexican community in celebrating their 215th Independence Anniversary upon the request of the Ambassador of the United States of Mexico, H.E Alfredo Miranda and his beautiful spouse.
It was also a pleasure to further discussions on women empowerment, building on the momentum from the SWEEP event in Abuja, where the Ambassador was a keynote speaker. His enthusiasm for fostering collaboration within the Mexican society is truly inspiring and I look forward to the opportunities this shared vision will unlock.
Grateful for the warm hospitality, beautiful culture and the chance to network with incredible individuals shaping impact across sectors.
Here’s to building bridges across nations, cultures, and communities.

Elotero Man is loved because he feels familiar and human. He shows up late, works long hours, and serves the neighborhood without asking for attention. People associate him with comfort, routine, and community after long days. He represents respect for street vendors who keep showing up, earn honestly, and support families through quiet work.

🗣All Tacos 🌮 for $1 - ONLY ON TUESDAYS 😱
This is an amazing story where you have a Mexican family who moved to the states and through their own struggles decided they wanted to help others. Saul (owner) has been in the US since 2007 and noticed that authentic tacos that were affordable were hard to find. He saved up enough money to snag a used school bus that he converted into a kitchen. His brother became the manager of a pizza spot where his brother allows him to park the truck beside the pizza spot utilizing the pizza spots patio space. He could’ve easily taken these one dollar tacos to the Mexican community to feed his own people, but instead wanted to make it accessible to the greater Raleigh community at large. We got 🅃🅁🄰🄿🄿🄴🄳 AGAIN! This time by a $1 taco that hit hard as a $12 taco at Fenton (thats all I’ma say)! This spot is a MUST TRY and a MONEY SAVER!

What’s happening right now with ICE is heartbreaking. I stand with the Mexican community not just today, but always.
In 2020, I took a leap of faith to become a content creator. I left my job at Pro Image in Woodbridge with nothing but a dream and a few pins. And you know who held me down? The Mexican community especially in California and Texas.
Over 30,000 orders later, 85% of them came from y’all. That support helped me pay rent, buy a car, build my PC, and chase this creative life full-time. Without you, I wouldn’t be here doing what I love.
This isn’t just about business it’s about love, culture, and community. Y’all helped change my life. I’ll never forget that. 💚❤️🤍
