How I started 2025 whew 😅. The girl in January is not the woman who I became in December. I started this year as the first year without my dad. Extremely heartbroken, still not grasping my grief or how to navigate it. The first video was after my set and I just got stuck in the moment of how is this my life and how will I continue. Flash forward to now. Whew what did I learn. The part that sucks, life continues. You have to keep moving one foot in front of the other even when you feel like you can’t. So that’s what I did everyday chose myself, even when I felt like I can’t. Slowly it became easier. I wasn’t forgetting my dad, I was living my life. I traveled I did things he would want me to do. Every memory of joy was no longer tainted with the sting of pain and loss. I learned who I was and started loving me again. I can’t wait to see what I do in 2026 because I’m back, back to loving me celebrating me.
