Happy new year! This is my first post of 2023. I'm packing my bags ahead of a major trip next week and I'm so excited, nervous, anxious, sad, worried... the emotions are real and it's hard to contain them. In the meantime I've been reminiscing the times when Thor was just a tiny pup. I'm amazed at how big he is now, back then I used to wonder if he would be fluffy and larger than average and he turned to be everything I dreamed about. He is fluffy and he is larger than average (Miniature American Shepherd).
Thor is my service dog, he is very in tune with my emotions and my health. I continuously train him so he is always sharp and better. The days I can't move he will retrieve objects when I ask. He now knows how to open doors too and that's so amazing. He is such an intelligent and dedicated dog. He is truly a life savior and more than I could ever dream about.
I look forward to resuming his agility training sometime near April or May. He loves it, and it's so good to improve his (& mine) fitness and motor skills.
He is healthy, calm, friendly, crazy fast, playful and a healer. I don't know what would my life be like without him. He is my soulmate doggie. And I hope that God give him a very, very long and happy life next to me. (I believe in my heart he will outlive every dog in the world), and then when the time comes he will come back in another dog.
If you never had a dog, I wish that you have one like I do, and I hope you get to truly connect with your pup in a spiritual way. Dog/God... I think there's some correlation with these words ... it's not just a cute accident.
