aka my favorite weekend solo trip I’ve ever taken🥹 I was lucky enough to be able to go for Chinese New Year in February and it was the most perfect quick trip. I stayed at the Mira Moon in the Wan Chai district of Hong Kong Island and thought the location could’ve been better or worse, but the hotel was beautiful (and it’s a Marriott partner so I got points which is always a plus hahaha). I spent most of the weekend on the island but ventured to Kowloon to enjoy the parades and visit a friend for dinner! I found the metro system to be really easy to navigate, the people to be very friendly, and I felt safe visiting alone.
