There are certain state titles that carry a legacy unlike any other, and Miss Michigan Teen USA has always been one of them. Eliy, you honored that legacy from the very beginning. You didn’t come into this journey with years of pageant experience or every advantage. You came with courage, authenticity, and a perspective on life that few people your age ever have the opportunity to gain. Having faced obstacles that would have changed anyone forever, you learned early that every opportunity is a gift, every moment matters, and every day is worth embracing. You gave this title everything you had. Every appearance, every interview, every event. You never missed a beat because giving less than your best simply isn’t who you are. What I admire most is that you never tried to become someone else. You built your own brand by simply being yourself. In a world that often rewards carefully crafted images and manufactured stories, yours has always been genuine. Your strength, your gratitude, and your heart made people believe in you. You also reminded us of something I hope this organization never loses sight of: talent should be recognized, character should be celebrated, and opportunity should never belong only to those with the biggest budgets or years of experience. This stage should always be a place where every young woman has the chance to discover what she is capable of. You proved exactly that. Michigan has a history unlike any other, and you have earned your place within it. Not simply because you won the title, but because of how you represented it. Thank you for reminding all of us what true empowerment really looks like. Thank you for honoring the legacy of Miss Michigan Teen USA, and thank you for empowering every young woman who watched your journey. Congratulations, Eliy. Janelle founded the initiative “Choosing You, For You,” which promotes the adoption of sustainable, healthy habits to prevent chronic illness and improve overall well-being. She is dedicated to fostering a healthier, more informed community through education, advocacy, and leadership. As she prepares to compete for Miss Michigan, I know she will carry the pride, resilience, and spirit of St. Clair Shores and our entire state with her! #stclairshores #macombcounty #missmichigan #missamerica #goodluck

Dazzling in Water Wave dress, Miss Michigan’s @amber.uhler and I came up with a collaboration to create a look that reflects Michigan’s coastal water Landmarks! The Bridge Headpiece I designed was inspired by the Mackinac Bridge and I also incorporated matching wave cuffs to tie the look together. Dress design by Amber and lighthouses were added to tie the look together! I’m proud of this because I only had about a week to design. Makeup/Hair- @williamhuertass Production- @missusa Headpiece/Cuff Jewelry- Me Dress- @amber.uhler #missusa #pageantcostume #pageantdesigner #headpiece #missusacostume
