My first art journal page using my new Sisters printables. 🥰
I painted the background with acrylics, and this time I used a small piece of cardboard and some bubble wrap for stamping and adding texture. I also used watercolors and a Stabilo Woody pencils, then finished the page with a little doodling.

That’s all it took to turn a blank page into this cozy fall journal spread.
I started with messy paint, then layered @ardencreativestudio Wicked Woods Rub-ons + Laser Cuts (pumpkin, butterflies, leaves… pure autumn magic). I keep the center open on purpose so I can drop in little scraps of real life later.
Creative journaling doesn’t have to be perfect or time-consuming — just 10 intentional minutes a day keeps you connected to yourself.

Another spirally journal page! Watercolour background and testing out my new white acrylic marker oen… and I’m impressed! Usually a white gel pen kinda girl… but I think I’m converted! It writes over the paint sooooo well! (It’s a Molotow)

I don’t think I can get one more page in this @joggles Disc Bound Journal, so here’s a flip through of it! It’s my 69th completed journal. I don’t count little zine books and smalls like that. I do keep 6 - 8, sometimes more, active journals at a time of different sizes and papers. I have number 75 going already. This Disc Bound is a 4x6” medley of various card stocks between the ovals and rectangles. They have a lot to choose from! Almost all of these pages have some of my Joggles designs on them. Please ask if you want to know what something is! I hope you get some ideas from these!

This one started with plants. 🌿
From there I just kept building — old papers, printed text, gauze, stitching and translucent layers until it started to feel like something pulled from an old botanical field journal.
This kind of slow, intuitive page building is probably my favourite part of mixed media. I don’t always know where I’m going when I start.
