#Moby
Completely overwhelmed from all the kindness I’ve gotten over the last few days. Thank you so much to Mr @moby , the whole band and crew for letting me sing with y’all. This past weekend @coachella was just special. There was so much love in that tent and on that stage. I’ve often felt alone, afraid, awkward, and wondered if I was in the right place. These last few days have reminded me there’s a place for everyone, including me. #moby #coachella #whenitscoldidliketodie #naturalBlues
Why I love Weekend 1… you get completely blindsided by moments like this. ✨

Moby’s “Porcelain” is a masterclass in emotional sampling, built around a reversed string section taken from Ernest Gold’s Fight for Survival (1960).
By flipping just a few chords backwards, he created that iconic “breathing” effect that gives the track its haunting, weightless atmosphere. Paired with subtle drum patterns and gospel-inspired vocals, the result feels both intimate and cinematic.
What makes the story even crazier is that Moby nearly left the track off Play entirely, calling it “mushy” and unfinished. Instead, it became one of his most defining records, capturing the feeling of loving someone you know you have to let go.
Over two decades later, “Porcelain” still stands as one of electronic music’s most timeless and emotional productions.

Moby La tua musica tocca i cuori ♥️
