We have our tried-and-true favorite resorts in Bohol, but this time, we decided to explore something new—Modala Resort @modalabeachresort, which is highly recommended on @tripadvisor. Wow, did it live up to the hype! Modala made us feel right at home.
Our room was perfect for our family, with space to relax, and a balcony to take in the views. For our daughter, it was pool mornings and beach afternoons, making sandcastles and finding starfish.
The food were a mix of kid-friendly favorites and local flavors. The P8,000/night room rate included a hearty buffet breakfast to start the day.
One thing to keep in mind is that Modala is about a 15-minute drive (7 km) from the main Alona strip. While it’s a bit removed from the central tourist area, I found this distance to be a plus, allowing for a quieter stay. For those looking to experience the vibrant dining and nightlife scene of Alona Beach, it’s still easily accessible by a short drive or tricycle ride.
Modala exceeded our expectations and rekindled our love for Bohol. Already can’t wait to come back.

·在渡假村內價格卻很親民，光線柔和、安靜療癒
·按摩師多為女性，可以同時預約 3–4 位，很適合朋友一起來

I’ve stayed in a lot of resorts in Bohol but Modala is definitely my favorite because of its beautiful beach and shoreline! Not crowded with people and restaurants, perfect for a solid R&R vacation with your loved ones!

It is also the perfect venue to choose when I signed up for my first ever @ironmanph race in Bohol, perfect because first, it is just beside the venue, second it is not too crowded because it is not the main venue of the race swamped with racers and spectators! I also love the pleasing personalities and the service of the staff being attentive to all our needs.

Food is also world class from the breakfast buffet to the pica-pica menu in the poolside to the dinner menu! Plus it is right beside Moadto strip mall an open air mall where guests can find a variety of restaurants, stores and more photo worthy sights!
