Tiny parts, big results. 🏍️ Watching this miniature beast come together is so satisfying. Every little screw and gear counts. Are you into model building, or do you prefer the real thing? #miniature #modelbuilding #kawasakininja #craftsmanship

Instagram showcases a fascinating engineering demonstration where a model building is subjected to simulated seismic forces, a viral moment that resonates with anyone curious about the innovative technology protecting cities in high-risk zones. The video, captioned “The Science Behind Japan's Earthquake-Proof Buildings 😍,” highlights the “unexpected” moment when a series of #seismic base isolators, consisting of small metal spheres, allow a glass platform and its model structure to slide smoothly rather than shake violently. This educational #science timing has amassed significant engagement, capturing the pure and uninhibited nature of advanced #engineering design. Replies emphasize the impressive and relatable nature of the scene—underscoring how such personal milestones turn everyday laboratory spaces into a viral social media spectacle. #innovation #japan

🇬🇧 In model building, the smallest tasks often have the biggest impact on the final result. Adjusting a fitting, refining an edge or checking the alignment of a tiny part can make the whole model look cleaner and more professional. That is why precision matters so much: quality is built detail by detail. #artesanialatina #modelismonaval #modelkits #navalmodeling #modelbau

© Copyright Pro-Level Civil Engineering. All Rights Reserved. Can engineers stop the building swaying and devastating effects of an earthquake? Indeed, they can with a simple trick—by disconnecting the building from the ground, and here is how! To prove this works, do this simple test at home with two solid objects and place a narrow, tall model of a building. Shake the ground back and forth aggressively, and your model building will collapse in seconds! Now, place a set of rollers between the two solid objects, repeat the test, and there you are, the building will remain stable and experience minimal movements. Utilizing this principle, engineers have developed seismic base isolators—sliding or flexible elements that effectively isolate the ground's aggressive movements from the building. #civilengineering #structuralengineering #arhitecture #design #earthquake

LEGO fans know the feeling: what starts as one small LEGO set quickly turns into an entire hobby filled with creativity, collecting, building, and a growing LEGO wishlist that never seems to end. For many people, hobbies like LEGO building, toy collecting, model building, gaming, drawing, and crafting are more than just something to do—they’re a way to relax, reset, and enjoy time away from everyday stress. Sitting down to sort bricks, design a LEGO display, organize a LEGO collection, or start a new LEGO build gives your brain a creative outlet while still being fun and nostalgic. That’s why the LEGO hobby continues to grow with adult fans of LEGO (AFOLs) and collectors who love everything from LEGO Star Wars sets and rare LEGO minifigures to custom LEGO creations and massive LEGO rooms. Hobbies remind us that it’s okay to slow down, build something cool, and enjoy the process one brick at a time.

3D Printing has really changed the face of model building. Thanks to the increase in releases of models as STL files, previously un-makable games are now able to meet the demand for models. While they’re not always perfect, this is definitely a good thing. #warhammer #warhammercommunity #warhammerpainting #paintingwarhammer2020 #paintingwarhammer
