If you wake up feeling swollen or “soft” — this one is for you. This isn’t your body changing overnight. It’s fluid that hasn’t moved yet. Try this simple reset: 👉 Gentle arm swings 👉 Add a soft twist through your spine 👉 Keep your breath slow and deep Just 2-3 minutes. You’ll feel the shift almost instantly: → less heaviness → more space in your body → more energy Your body just needs movement — not more overthinking.
I’m 30… But These 5 Moves Keep My Body Feeling 20
Stretching without proper breathing is a waste of time. Breath is what tells the body to release. If you want to stretch effectively and actually feel the benefits, follow and save for more body-smart movement tips. 💝

A 3-minute reset you can do anywhere, anytime. Because grounding isn’t complicated — it’s consistent. Here’s a short breathwork + stretch practice to regulate your nervous system, soften tension, and bring you back into your body. Try this: Pause: Feel your body connected to the earth, let your shoulders relax and feel your spine lengthen. ✨ Inhale ✨ Add a gentle shoulder roll + chest opening stretch ✨ Exhale ✨ Repeat × 6 Your entire system recalibrates when you breathe with intention. Save this for when you need a moment of calm.
Hold this for 5 min… and feel your body soften in a way stretching never could. 🌿 In the body (fascia & joints) The first couple of minutes mainly affect the muscles. But after 3–5 minutes, the body begins to target the fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds everything. The side body fascia lines (from outer hip to ribs to shoulder) start to slowly hydrate and lengthen The intercostal muscles between the ribs soften, which can improve breathing The gentle stress stimulates joint spaces, especially around the spine and hips The body begins to release deep, held tension, not by force, but through time This is why it often feels subtle… yet deeply effective. 🌬️ In the breath Around this time, you may notice: The breath becomes slower and more spacious It moves more easily into the side ribs and lungs There’s less effort, more natural flow It’s as if the body starts breathing you. 🧠 In the nervous system After 5 minutes, many people shift into a more parasympathetic state (rest and repair): The body feels safer The mind becomes quieter There is less urgency, less doing This is where real restoration begins. 💛 On an emotional level Banana Pose gently targets areas where we often hold subtle emotional tension. After a few minutes, you might feel: A soft release of anxiety or restlessness A sense of space and lightness in the body Sometimes even an unexpected emotional shift Nothing dramatic—just a quiet letting go. ✨ The essence After 5 minutes, Banana Pose is no longer about stretching. It becomes about: Allowing Softening Creating space—physically and emotionally If you stay present, breathe, and don’t push, this is where the body begins to feel more at ease… and more like home again. 👉 Comment OPEN and I'll send you my FREE Open Body Starter Series —3 gentle videos to help you release tension, improve posture and move with more ease. #yinyoga #fasciarelease #gentlemovent #nervoussystemregulation #nervoussystemhealing
Sometimes starting is the hardest part. But once the body begins to move, energy tends to follow and momentum gradually builds. Starting is a skill, and it can be trained. This is something I do when I’m low on energy or motivation. I hope it will help you too. Enjoy, Karin. #mobility #mobilitytraining
