Schock für tausende Raver in ganz Europa: Das „Music On Festival 2026“ wurde kurzfristig abgesagt. Laut einem Statement wurde dem Festival am selben Morgen von der Stadt Amsterdam die Genehmigung entzogen. Besucher sollten nicht mehr anreisen.
Besonders brisant: Viele Fans waren zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits unterwegs oder hatten Hotels, Flüge und Zugtickets gebucht.
Die Information kam extrem kurzfristig. Warum die Erlaubnis offenbar erst wenige Stunden vorher widerrufen wurde, ist bislang öffentlich nicht vollständig erklärt.
Das wirft Fragen auf. Wie kann ein Festival dieser Größenordnung offenbar bis zuletzt geplant werden, wenn am Ende doch die Grundlage fehlt? Wurde im Hintergrund zu spät entschieden? Gab es Sicherheitsbedenken, nicht erfüllte behördliche Auflagen oder organisatorische Konflikte? Offizielle Details dazu stehen bisher weitgehend aus.
Interessant ist auch: Das „Music On By Night“- Event soll trotzdem stattfinden. Bedeutet also: Nicht die komplette Marke wurde gestoppt, sondern offenbar gezielt das Festival selbst. Genau das sorgt aktuell für Diskussionen in der Szene.
Klar ist: Behörden müssen Sicherheit, Infrastruktur und öffentliche Ordnung gewährleisten. Gleichzeitig stellt sich aber die Frage, wie verhältnismäßig eine Absage in letzter Minute ist und wer am Ende die Konsequenzen trägt. Denn betroffen sind nicht nur Veranstalter, sondern auch Artists, lokale Arbeitskräfte und tausende Besucher.
Für viele fühlt sich die Situation wie ein weiteres Beispiel dafür an, wie fragil elektronische Kulturveranstaltungen inzwischen geworden sind. Monate an Planung, Millionenaufwand, eine komplette Community und trotzdem kann innerhalb weniger Stunden alles kippen.

The RMX is insane for these kind of tricks 🤯
You will use this in your sets immediately😉
Here’s the trick:
Start by keeping the INPUT button (the yellow one) turned off so the RMX-1000 effects only affect the RMX pad and not the master or the tracks.
Then select the Snare sound inside the pad and apply Spiral Up. Set the knob so it sends just a tiny amount of signal, barely enough to trigger the effect. Keep Sub-parameters 1 and 2 fully to the left so both parameters stay at their minimum positions.
From here, I start playing the RMX pad while feeding that minimal signal into Spiral Up. This slowly charges the spiral effect. Once it starts building, I begin moving the big effect knob together with Parameter 1, shaping the rise while also riding the pitch up and down on the RMX.
Next, I record a sequence using the Overdub function on the pad. Once the sequence is looping, I have full control over Parameter 1 and Parameter 2 of Spiral Up. When the effect is peaking, I set all knobs around the 12 o’clock position to stabilize the texture.
At the same time, with my other hand, I’m using the RMX to build energy — pushing the pitch up and performing the build-up manually. At the very end of the effect, I cut the overdub, lower the pad volume, and mute Spiral Up without touching the parameters. Leaving them at 12 o’clock keeps a smooth tail running so the transition blends naturally with the groove.
