Looking back at the 2016 NBA All-Star Game feels like watching a completely different era of basketball. The Western Conference lineup featured Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard, Klay Thompson, James Harden, Chris Paul, Anthony Davis, and Draymond Green all on the same team. The West went on to beat the East 196-173, with Westbrook winning his second straight All-Star Game MVP after scoring 31 points. But the biggest storyline was Kobe’s final All-Star appearance. He finished with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists while receiving a huge standing ovation in Toronto. Curry also finished with 26 points, including a ridiculous deep three late in the game. The 2017 NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans delivered plenty of unforgettable moments, but Stephen Curry casually stepping aside to avoid becoming part of a Giannis Antetokounmpo highlight might be one of the funniest. 😂🏀 With defense taking a backseat and the game all about entertainment, Curry seemed to make the smartest decision possible—just get out of the way and let Giannis put on a show. The hilarious reaction quickly became a fan-favorite moment, perfectly capturing the playful atmosphere of All-Star Weekend. Sometimes, even the biggest stars know when it’s better to enjoy the highlight from a safe distance than risk ending up on a poster. 😭🔥 #NBA #NBAAllStar #StephenCurry #Giannis #Basketball

Kevin Hart could hoop 😂 Kevin Hart became an NBA All-Star Celebrity Game standout, winning four straight MVP awards from 2012 to 2015. Despite being much shorter than many players around him, Hart relied on speed, ball-handling, competitiveness, and confidence to become one of the event’s biggest personalities. Years later, the NBA brought his entertainment value back to All-Star Weekend when he served as the league’s first on-court emcee during the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. #KevinHart #NBA #NBAAllStar #Basketball #CelebrityGame Follow @athletesinflowstate for more Daily Content like this 🤯

During the NBA All-Star Weekend Kia Skills Challenge, San Antonio Spurs teammates Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul attempted a hilarious speedrun by exploiting a flaw in the competition's rulebook. Under the official challenge guidelines, participants were required to make a shot at each station or proceed to the next area after three missed attempts. Recognizing that taking deliberate, setup shots consumed valuable seconds, Wembanyama and Paul intentionally tossed rapid-fire misses directly at the rims to force the three-attempt limit and clear each station in under three seconds flat. While the clever tactical maneuver produced the fastest clock time of the night, contest organizers ultimately disqualified Team Spurs for failing to make genuine shot attempts. The bold effort drew mixed reactions and boos from the crowd, though Wembanyama remained completely unbothered in his post-challenge press conference, casually remarking that he had no regrets and considered exploiting the loophole a "good idea". #nba #wembanyama #chrispaul #nbaskillschallenge #nbaallstar

Bro Kevin Hart challenged the fastest man alive to a race on a basketball court with a basketball and somehow won 😭🤣⚡ 2013 NBA All Star Celebrity Game in Houston. Usain Bolt, eight time Olympic gold medallist and world record holder in the 100m and 200m, is standing on a basketball court. Kevin Hart, 5 foot 4, comedian, walks up and challenges him to a race up and down the court with a basketball. Bolt accepted. Hart got a head start. Bolt called it unfair. Hart and everyone watching said it made complete sense. And when the race was over Hart crossed the line first, turned around, and did the full Usain Bolt lightning pose celebration directly in Bolt's face while the entire arena lost its mind. Bolt responded by doing a playful elbow drop on Hart on the court. Hart declared himself the fastest man in the world. Nobody corrected him because he had just beaten Usain Bolt on camera. The most entertaining 15 seconds in NBA All Star history. 😭 #nba #kevinhart #nbaallstar

Tyrese Haliburton still couldn’t believe Anthony Edwards’s description of Damian Lillard’s shooting range. During an NBA All-Star moment, Dame pulled up from around the logo, and Ant looked at Tyrese and said one word: “Yucatán.” Haliburton made him repeat it before realizing Edwards was joking that Lillard had shot from unbelievably far away. The reference works because the Yucatán Peninsula is in southeastern Mexico—Ant had basically invented his own name for logo range. Between Edwards’s delivery, Haliburton’s delayed reaction, and Damian Lillard casually launching from deep, this became one of the funniest NBA All-Star stories. The video showcases a classic throwback moment of NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal entertaining the crowd during an All-Star game. The clip begins with Shaq playing for the Eastern Conference, wearing a jersey featuring his iconic number 32. He is seen driving aggressively toward the basket and putting on an absolute clinic of raw power, including a massive alley-oop slam dunk that demonstrates why he was one of the most dominant forces in basketball history. Beyond his incredible athletic skill, the video highlights Shaq’s legendary showmanship and ability to bring fun to the court. After another powerful dunk where he barely hangs onto the rim, the commentators laughingly remark that he "has to hit the rim," pointing out his playful antics. The video captures a lighthearted moment during an NBA All-Star game, focusing on James Harden’s comical reaction to a halfcourt shot attempt by Kyrie Irving. As Irving lets the ball fly from across the court, Harden watches intently alongside teammates like Kevin Durant. The text overlays on the screen, "Harden had to walk away 😂" and "Harden's reaction to Kyrie's halfcourt shot attempt 😅", perfectly set the stage for the humorous sequence that follows. As soon as Irving's shot misses the mark and bounces off the rim, Harden immediately turns his back and starts walking away from the court in playful disappointment. The atmosphere in the arena remains electric with fans cheering in the background, but Harden's exaggerated, silent exit steals the show, showcasing the fun camaraderie and playful dynamics between the superstar players. #JamesHarden #KyrieIrving #NBAAllStar #BasketballHumor #KevinDurant
