چین فی الوقت الیکٹرک گاڑیوں (نیو انرجی وہیکلز - NEVs) کی پیداوار میں دنیا میں پہلے نمبر پرہے۔ 2025 میں 71 لاکھ گاڑیاں برآمد کی گئیں جن میں الیکٹرک وہیکلز اہم حصہ تھیں۔چین دنیا میں الیکٹرک گاڑیوں کی پیداوار کا تقریباً 60% حصہ بنا رھا ہے۔ اس کا پورا صنعتی ایکو سسٹم (بیٹریاں، اجزاء، مینوفیکچرنگ) بہت زیادہ مربوط اور وسیع ہے۔چین بیٹری ٹیکنالوجی (جیسے LFP سیلز)، ڈرائیونگ ایڈ سسٹمز اور مینوفیکچرنگ میں تیزی سے جدت لا رہا ہے۔بڑے پیمانے پر پیداوار اور مکمل سپلائی چین کی وجہ سے چینی الیکٹرک گاڑیاں بہت مسابقتی قیمت پر پیش کی جا رہی ہیں۔ چینی برانڈز یورپ، مشرق وسطیٰ، جنوب مشرقی ایشیا اور لاطینی امریکہ میں تیزی سے اپنی مارکیٹ بنا رہے ہیں۔
یورپ اور امریکہ میں روایتی آٹو جائنٹس تیزی سے منتقلی کر رہے ہیں لیکن وہ ابھی چین کے پیداواری پیمانے اور سپلائی چین کے کنٹرول سے پیچھے ہیں۔ ٹیسلا ایک مضبوط مدمقابل ہے لیکن چین کے مقابلے میں اس کا ماڈل لائن اپ محدود ہے۔جاپان اور جنوبی کوریا ہائبرڈ ٹیکنالوجی میں مضبوط تھے لیکن خالص الیکٹرک وہیکلز کے میدان میں سست روی کا شکار رہے ہیں، تاہم اب وہ تیزی سے سرمایہ کاری کر رہے ہیں۔
ٹرانسپورٹ تیل کی عالمی طلب کا ایک بڑا حصہ ہے۔ الیکٹرک گاڑیوں کی بڑھتی ہوئی تعداد سے پٹرول/ڈیزل کی طلب کم ھو رھی ھے-
مشرقی چین کا صوبہ "انہوئی" جو کبھی زرعی معیشت کے لیے جانا جاتا تھا، اب دنیا کی دوسری بڑی معیشت کے صنعتی منظر نامے میں ایک اہم کھلاڑی بن کر ابھرا ہے۔ 2025 کے پہلے گیارہ ماہ کے دوران، انہوئی نے تقریباً 33.4 لاکھ گاڑیاں تیار کیں، جن میں سے 16.4 لاکھ نیو انرجی وہیکل (NEVs) تھیں۔ صوبے نے تقریباً 10.6 لاکھ گاڑیاں بیرون ملک برآمد کیں، جو تینوں شماریات میں اسے چین میں پہلے نمبر پر لاکھڑا کرتی ہیں۔ دوسرے لفظوں میں، چین میں تیار ہونے والی ہر آٹھ میں سے ایک سے زیادہ نیو انرجی گاڑی انہوئی سے آتی ہے۔صوبے کی یہ تبدیلی ایک ساختی تبدیلی کی علامت ہے اور چینی جدید کاری کے سفر کو ظاہر کرتی ہے، جو مقامی حالات کے مطابق اصلاحات، عملی تجربات، اور بتدریج توسیع کے ذریعے آگے بڑھا ہے۔
