What a privilege it was to begin NZ Design Week 2026 at @crestlinefurniture this morning - a space that so perfectly embodies this year’s theme: People + Place. There’s something fitting about opening our nine-day programme with Crestline for the second year in a row. It speaks to continuity. To collaboration. And to the idea that design isn’t a one-off gesture - it’s an evolving relationship. This year marks a new chapter for us. Under our new name, NZ Design Week, we’re stepping into a broader ambition — one that reflects not just a city, but a country rich in creativity, ingenuity and cultural depth. Let’s begin!
