From a dress and netela she got made in Ethiopia, to a custom two-piece! I used her top as the pattern and made this off-shoulder set with my 100% cotton fabric and tilet detailing from her netela 🤍 She loved the final look! #tufabyeleni #fashionzone #tilet #handmade #modernhabeshaclothing #tailoring #habeshaclothing #alterations

Habesha moms don’t say “you look good” — they just wear their netela like it’s a judge’s robe 😭👩🏽‍⚖️ They scan you head to toe like they’re about to read your soul 💀 No smile. No compliment. Just one long “Hmm…” If she doesn’t walk away mid-scan, congrats — you passed the vibe check 😂 It’s not shade, it’s tradition 🇪🇹✨ ©️Deli #HabeshaMoms #NetelaScan #SilentJudgement #habeshaparents #habeshaculture

In Ethiopia, Holy Week, known as “Himamat” is observed with profound reverence and devotion. Many people fast strictly throughout the week, attend extended daily church services, wear traditional white clothing (Netela), and participate in Good Friday prostrations. Across the country, the atmosphere becomes calm and deeply spiritual, as communities devote themselves to prayer, reflection, and faith. These sacred days emphasize introspection, repentance, and spiritual renewal, with teachings centered on faithfulness, forgiveness, and humility. . . #HolyWeek #Himamat #Ethiopia #OrthodoxFaith #SpiritualJourney #FaithAndReflection #GoodFriday #Fasting #PrayerLife #OrthodoxChurch #ChristianFaith #Pascha #Easter #SacredTradition #Humility #Forgiveness #Faith #ReligiousTradition #EthiopianOrthodox #spiritualtime
