“Me and @romeomiller never wanted the fans to pick and choose. ... It was more of the people trying to stir up something to give the media and everybody something to talk about, but we ain’t let it happen.” - @shadmoss
before i was rudely cut off, i mentioned that our history and geography textbook would have pages upon pages ripped out that talked about arab jewish history because they never wanted us to know the truth about it.
thanks for coming to half of my ted talk lol.
“Kobe. I never heard him talk about money. He wanted to be the greatest. ... To see the stuff he did at 17, it was just phenomenal.” - Ty Lue
🗣️ self talk is powerful and it’s actually science backed.
To be honest, I never learned about this in medical school or my training – – but as I’ve been using it more in my life, I’ve really understood the science. So I wanted to share with you.
Research in this area has consistently demonstrated that people especially athletes who use positive self-talk are better able to manage pressure and often perform better under stress.
This type of self talk affects both the prefrontal cortex as well as the amygdala in your brain — helping you reduce the stress in the situation and increase focus.
Why do I want to share this with you? Because I truly believe that as you start to eat better, sleep better, more nature time— you are going to have better control of your mind. The transformation of your life begins with working on yourself both mind and body. I know you have many gifts left inside of you – – and I want you to discover them.

Recently my sister @iamjulieharnold shared this video with me. I never saw it before. All I remember was he said there were so many things he wanted to talk about after reading it. Seeing this- his excitement and enthusiasm about my work lifted me in a great way.
His stand up class taught me how to be a better comedian and I pray that my book helped him to become a better man.
@thedavidaarnold I’m missing you my friend. I’m honoring you and the father that you have been to your babies @anna_grace_arnold and @ashlyn_arnold01 I know they have many men covering them but you KNOW I got them too! ✊🏽👑
“I never wanted to win a Slam. I wanted a family and a normal life.
World No.1? Yeah, but no.”
In Episode 9 (Part 2) of Courtside Capital, Shanka and I talk about mental health and balance — redefining success, choosing purpose over pressure, and why “having it all” is a myth. We get into family, routine, and what stability really does for performance. 🧠⚖️

Take any other domain… architecture for example, if you wanted to be a great architect agent would you never talk about it?
Of course not. And if people said you “just do your drawings and keep them to yourself” you would think there was no sense in it whatsoever…
Obviously you have to talk about what you’re working on in order to get better…
Anyone at the top of their game does this…
The most successful real estate agents are CONSTANTLY talking about real estate…
The best martial artists are constantly talking about martial arts…
So they are constantly THINKING ABOUT IT…
And therefore constantly WORKING ON IT…
And constantly connecting with others working on the same things!!
If you had an exam to take, would you think it a good idea to study in secret or a better idea to tell people so there is an expectation you do well?
People who say “don’t talk about it” are saying “give yourself no expectations…”
Because off on your own there is no one but yourself to hold you accountable…
It can be done, but it’s a lot harder, and for no reason when you could just share.
I would not have got sober if I never told anyone I had a problem…
I would not have the physique and strength I have today if I never shared that I was working on it…
Not only because it motivates you to do better… but when others know what you’re working on you are accountable!
This is why helping others in order to help yourself works.
If others rely on you, you CAN’T give up… you are letting more than just YOURSELF down!

I wanted to talk about grit and perseverance. I will never forget this moment when I was asked to bear crawl down red rocks, weighing over 400 pounds.
The message in this video is really where it all came to the forefront for me. Grit and perseverance are everything.
•What do you do when life gets really hard?
•What do you do when you want to quit?
•What do you do when you hear all the naysayers with their negativity?
•What are you doing to keep moving forward?
It was in this moment that I knew that I don’t need anybody’s approval. What I need is the effort that I give. The grit right here is what pushed me to the transformation of a lifetime.
KNOWING that I was able to do that, tells me that I can overcome anything in life. That’s why when you challenge yourself when it comes to fitness, it’s not about a number. What it is truly all about is developing grit and determination! #grit #perseverance #inspire #extremeweightloss #transformation #largerthanlifecoaching #largerthanlifeshow #livinglargerthanlife
as I grow up, talking about my adoption is more and more comforting. As a kid, I never wanted to talk about it 🥹 #relatable #adoption #chineseadoption #onechildpolicy
The Liberals never want to talk about their own record when it comes to keeping Australians safe from hate speech.
They don’t want Australians to remember that they wanted to make it legal to “offend, insult, humiliate or intimidate” someone just because of their race or ethnicity.
