Let the great North Carolina road-trip begin! This is day one, arriving into @charlottesgotalot for one night only. We tried to pack in as much as we could in a neighbourhood I’ve never explored before- NODA, aka North Davidson, which is the historic arts district in town( @nodaclt ). We started at @ameliesfrenchbakery for coffee , moved onto Cabo’s fish tacos for the most insane tacos, had shake fries and burgers at @goodyearhouse and finally ended the night with a donut from @reigningdoughnuts and a Carolina sunset that warmed me to the core! 🍽️ TWICE THE SOUL: More about what to expect when beloved Charlotte restaurant Soul Gastrolounge (@soulgastro) reopens at The Pass in NoDa: • Owners Lesa and Andy Kastanas are bringing back the essence of their original Plaza Midwood spot with some exciting upgrades. • The new space is more than twice the size at 4,700 square feet, featuring a semi-private dining room and outdoor patio seating 30. • The famous pork belly tacos are returning, along with the peacock decor, DJ booth, and familiar booths from the original location. Soul’s team will also bring back Tattoo Lounge a few months after reopening.
