Video description: in this video, Spencer is using the green screen effect well the video place behind him of an apparatus that’s hooked up to someone’s foot. It looks like a brace for your foot but it just goes around the big toe and then there’s a dial on the side that you turn that brings the big toe out so it’s not squished under the other toes. As the wheels turned and the tow gets pulled out, Spencer has a confused and somewhat horrified look on his face. Guess what? 😳 I’m making Australian Sport History! 🤺 Next month, I’ll be the 🥇female para-fencer to compete for Australia in an international sporting event. My next horizon after a year of milestone events (World Cups in Europe and Asian later this year) is the Paralympics in Paris 2024. ⚔️ Passion is Paramount. Preparation is key, and we’re just getting started as we build a program, and a squad/team to represent Australia on our own shores in 2032 in the Brisbane Paralympic Games. The team at @disabilitysportsaustralia @wheelchairfencing and my local club @fencingnsw have all been amazing. 🤺 Prepping for my first Int’l competition in Orange, France next month. ⚔️ Shoutouts to my prosthetists @apcprosthetics and my physio team @sportslabaus for working with me to turn a rough stone into a 💎 .
