The famous “Here It Is” sign on Route 66 was torn in half this week during a monsoon storm. The owners of the Jack Rabbit Trading Post say the sign is 77 years old and they’ve never had this much damage to it before. Most of the painted wood on the fronts of the sign are original from 1949. The owners say there’s still work to be done but they got it up as quickly as possible because people travel from around the world just to see their sign. #azfamily #route66 #hereitis #northernarizona
