I am IMPRESSED!! Say goodbye to overpriced veterinary care!! I just toured a veterinary clinic where we send a lot of pet owners who need help through my nonprofit @fixnfidos …. It’s called California Animal Rehabilitation & Emergency Surgery (CARES) and it’s on Cahuenga Blvd right off the 101 in the Universal City area. It’s *NOT* owned by a corporation so they aren’t worried about profit! I met their board certified surgeon and saw the entire facility and it is absolutely amazing. You will get gold standard care for half the price here. Even if you don’t live anywhere in the area, it is definitely worth it to check them out if you have a pet who needs surgery or your pet needs a dental cleaning and you haven’t been able to afford it… because you can now! You have to go to their website to send them a message… No walk-ins. The website is easy CARES.PET i’m thrilled to be able to share this with you and hopefully help pets get vet care at an affordable price. #notanad #vetcare #fixnfidos

A little post about #Dementia and what we can do to protect ourselves from a 57yo who will do what it takes. 1. Lift weights. Start small, choose@an accountability, get stronger, get hooked 2. Get the shingles vaccine @shingrix (#notanad) it’s expensive but offers 20% reduction in risk of dementia 3. Improve carotenoid levels (marker of nutritional health) I tested @meagherspharmacy shout out to @oonaghohag with @remindsupplement (#notanad) and the lovely @wmohealthcare increased for on 56% to 80% over the course. Also protects macular health. PS I don’t claim to be a medical professional. I have experienced almost two decades of a the horror of dementia. In research, I learn and I share. I’ve just been trying different liquid vitamins for the past 2 weeks (you already know which ones I think taste like farts) but I kinda enjoyed this one. It’s more of a liquid texture which is easy to go down and actually tastes good. I might keep up with this habit lol. @perdae_

My reason for wanting to know any early signs of anything is to hit it head on asap. I do think we need extra scans for breasts (I have dense tissue) went for an ultrasound in Manchester the other week because I felt a lump but it was just PMT boobs. This isn’t perfect but it does help me understand what’s going on as I age ! I want to keep doing tests like this. I feel empowered and proactive. #notanad #preventativehealth #mri #manchester #50
