🚨 @kidrock on Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime: “I didn’t understand any of it.” “Not my cup of tea — he wanted a dance party, and it looked like he had one.” “I don’t fault the kid. I fault the NFL… poor rich kid.” #SuperBowlHalftime #KidRock #BadBunny #NFL #HalftimeShow

Howdy y’all. I ain’t posted an update about my fight in a while. I been getting back to some aspect of rambling, & some of y’all might think I’m through, or in remission. That’s my fault for not clarifying what’s been going on. My story is a long song, and I doubt it will ever end with ranging a bell. First off, what I got is called intimal sarcoma. The main thing is in my pulmonary artery. If that sounds stressful, it’s cuz it is. I have undergone dozens of chemo infusions since I was first diagnosed in 2025, including red devil, ifosfomade, and until recently a combo called gem-tax. I received eleven cycles of gem-tax, before fluid build up in my lungs last month led us to change things up. A couple weeks ago I started receiving single chemo infusions over a month long cycle, twice a month. My cancer, which shrank significantly at first, is still shrinking, but only slightly, and is considered stable. My doctors seem confident based on my scans that this switch up will prolly work. But when and if it doesn’t, there is a number of successive treatments they have in mind for me. I receive treatment at the James at OSU with Dr. Marium Husain, with help & oversight from Dr Mrinal Gounder & Dr. Alex Kentsis at Memorial Sloan. I am infinitely thankful for them and their teams for the improvement in my outcomes. While I’m still on standard protocol, both the James & MSk have discovered new, treatments that are in the pipeline once standard protocol runs course. A year ago, a lot of y’all were watching me just beginning to hope I could get one more year. A year on, I don’t think you blame me that I want more than just that now. I feel rabid as a dog and bluer than a jay sometimes. It is a privilege beyond description to be here. Every moment, I live life again. I spent too much time filling my veins with bad blood. I am not foolish to the reality this is a long haul, but this thing ain’t killed me fast enough. I mighta been in the bogies, but I’m back to par and I ain’t never going back, if I have my way. But a prayer goes a long way, and I can use all the luck you can spare for all the trouble that come my way #deltablues #cancer
KIDS ARE NOT GETTING GENDER REASSIGNMENT SURGERIES!!! 97% of all gender affirming care surgeries in minors are done to cisgender males (BOYS WHO IDENTIFY AS BOYS) getting excess breast tissue removed. Harvard study. Cope in someone else’s comments. Not my fault you transphobes cant fuckin read.
1️⃣ Emotionally immature people don’t reveal themselves through loud behavior — but through a single sentence: “That’s not my fault.” 2️⃣ This sentence reveals a deep pattern: • They avoid responsibility because responsibility means change. • They experience criticism as an attack because their identity is fragile. • They struggle to maintain closeness because closeness requires openness — and openness feels threatening. 3️⃣ The difference between emotionally immature and mature people is brutally clear: Mature people say: “Let me see what part of this is my responsibility.” 4️⃣ And here’s the most important insight: Emotional immaturity doesn’t exist because someone is “stupid.” It exists because someone never learned how to tolerate emotions. You can only hold what you were allowed to experience as a child. 5️⃣ Once you understand this, you start interpreting people differently: Less as “difficult.” More as unseen. This one still stings in a way I wish it didn’t. I spent a long time blaming everyone but myself when my NFL career ended. It took years of real processing to finally accept the truth: my rookie year was my fault. Not entirely, there were other factors, performance benchmarks, organizational decisions I can get into another time. But at the root of it, I wasn’t ready. And I had to watch myself fall from the top of the ladder back to the bottom, right after the high of getting drafted. The hardest part wasn’t losing the career. It was accepting that I played a role in losing it. Being the oldest sibling, the first in my family to do most things, I’d always figured it out on my own. The NFL didn’t care about that. It chewed me up anyway. What I didn’t have was a mentor. Someone who had been there, who could see what I couldn’t see about myself. I genuinely believe that changes everything. Find mentors in your profession. People who will tell you the truth before the game tells it for you.
