Jensen Huang recently visited Starbase, Texas, to personally deliver NVIDIA’s newest AI supercomputer, the DGX Spark, to Elon Musk. Despite its compact size, the DGX Spark is designed to deliver up to 1 petaflop of AI computing performance and supports up to 128GB of unified memory. The system is built around NVIDIA’s Grace Blackwell architecture and is designed to run advanced AI models locally without relying entirely on cloud infrastructure. The moment is particularly interesting because it brings together two of the most influential companies in AI and robotics. NVIDIA provides much of the computing power behind the modern AI boom, while Tesla is developing autonomous vehicles, Optimus humanoid robots, and large-scale AI systems through xAI. Almost a decade ago, Jensen Huang personally delivered one of NVIDIA’s earliest DGX systems to OpenAI. Today, he’s delivering the next generation of AI computing directly to Elon Musk at Starbase. As AI models continue to grow in capability, powerful local AI systems like the DGX Spark could become increasingly important for developers, researchers, robotics teams, and AI startups. The future of AI won’t just live in massive data centers. More of it may soon fit on a desk. • Follow @meteoric.ai for more content on AI and technology. This is the most insane tech company in the world. ASML. Every single computer chip on Earth is made using their machines. Nvidia, Apple, Intel, Samsung…none of them can make any chips without ASML. But here’s the craziest part… The way these machines work is completely insane. If you like tech, this is gonna blow your mind. This is how computer chips are actually made… First, the ASML machine fires tiny droplets of molten tin. 50,000 droplets per second…each one thinner than a human hair. They then shoot a laser at each individual droplet, which vaporizes the tin into a plasma. That plasma…is hotter than the surface of the sun. It’s so hot, that when the plasma is created, it also emits extreme UV light. The machine guides that light through a series of hyper precise mirrors to beam it on a stencil which has the pattern for the chip. That pattern is then projected onto a thin slice of silicon that’s coated with special light reactive chemicals…essentially using the light to print the pattern onto the silicon. The machine then repeats this light printing process thousands of times, to build layer upon layer of silicon that stacks together to create a fully functional chip. Now here’s where it gets wild… These chip designs are super intricate…billions of transistors spaced only a few atoms apart. And that means the accuracy of the ASML machines are the equivalent of shooting a laser from the moon and hitting a penny on Earth. How insane is that? So in layman’s terms, the process to make a computer chip is vaporizing molten tin to create invisible light that beams atomic patterns onto thousands of layers of silicon.
