I think I’ve just found my new favourite obstacle course race!! This is what an OCR should feel like... tough, a bit chaotic, and actually fun the whole way through. Oh and the scenery, it was so beautiful. One minute I'm slogging up a hill questioning my life choices, the next I'm gazing around with wide eyes. (We ran up the hill behind me). Big, unrunable hills, proper deep swamps, swinging tyres, a random shoe throwing and the slip and slide doing what it does best at the end — you can race it or just try not to lose a shoe, it works for all abilities and ages. And they nailed the vibe off the course too. Spectator area was pumping all day — heaps of clever, family-friendly games, live music, food trucks… just a really good atmosphere from start to finish. Such a great day out. I’ll be back next year. . . . #newfavouriteocr#blazinhills
