well… it happened.
laid off.
kinda saw it coming.
kinda manifested it.
still hurts.
there’s no real playbook for this feeling — the swirl of gratitude, fear, relief, sadness, and maybe… just a little excitement? i’m heartbroken to lose the day-to-day with some of the best people i’ve ever worked with. that part hurts the most. the laughs, the lunch breaks, the quick check-ins that turned into hour-long talks about life. i’ll miss that more than words can say.
but deep down, i know this is the push i didn’t know i want but probably needed. i’ve spent a long time building something of my own, quietly, late at night, on weekends, between meetings. and maybe this is the moment i finally bet on me. I’m not sure… but that’s ok.

I can’t believe we’re starting over!!!
This summer my husband and I unexpectedly found what will be our dream home with a little love and DIY.
In two weeks we managed to finish up any unfinished jobs around the house and get it on the market.
We’re officially in the era of houses just sitting on the market so we were beyond excited when an adorable first time home owner couple fell in love with our first home and allowed us to sell within two weeks!
We’re now onto bigger adventures where we will start over by upgrading, remodelling and putting our touch on the home of our dreams!
