This week, Bukele walked into the White House—not as a crisis, but as a case study. 🇸🇻🇺🇸
While most of the media focused on the case of Kilmar Abrego García, which should absolutely be covered and I have, this moment was about something bigger for Latin America. A SHIFT.
🎥 Inviting you guys to watch the full op-ed in English on our Youtube show (link in bio) for a fuller picture of what this meant for many of us from Latin America.

This young Maine feminist is voting for Graham Platner. Kelly Gilbert of Scarborough is a student at the University of Southern Maine. In her op-ed, she writes, “Looking back, I feel Sen. Collins weaponized my abuse to win in 2020. Simply having a woman in the U.S. Senate will not deliver better conditions for Maine women.”

On February 15, Arielle Kane, MPP, was fired from her role as a health policy analyst at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI).
Kane, one of thousands of federal employees laid off by DOGE last month, was part of a team dedicated to improving maternal health outcomes while reducing Medicaid costs.
“Our mandate was to improve efficiency and outcomes in these programs, an objective that ostensibly aligns with the administration's stated goal of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE): to maximize governmental efficiency and productivity,” she noted.
In an #OpEd, Kane reflects on why her firing “represents the death of public service” and shares her concerns about the future of the civil service workforce. Read at the link in our bio.
@mmschocolate is demoting the spokes-candies. Now, I love me some @princesstagram but I also love Miss. Green M&M ( no relation) . It’s not just that we share a last name. She’s fly… she can rock the heels and the kicks! She’ll bust out the lashes and then scale it back and look just as cute. Like most of us she’s more than just ONE thing. I like that. Here are a few more reasons why Miss Green is my favorite M&M. @iamcreesummer , sorry for adding an extra “s” to your name. There is only one of you despite how many voices you do! #chocolate #newsrant #rant #oped #m&m #candy

Words matter. Let’s use them the right way. We must strive for patient-centered care. Let’s do better every single day.

Feminism is, and always has been, the idea women can do as they choose. Not as society dictates. I chose to take my new husband’s last name.
