A spacesuit designed for Venus would need to be constructed of titanium. Without a spacesuit, one would get squashed in seconds, if you didn't get turned into dust. Earth: Thanks to the wonderful atmosphere, food and water, and everything else that makes our home planet liveable, you can get in a good 80 or more years here. Earth is perfect for us. . . Mars It is very cold, but the atmosphere is very thin 'Tyson says, "so the intensity of the cold won't be as biting as it might otherwise feel at that temperature on Earth." . Jupiter Jupiter is literally just a ball of gas with a solid core. So there's nothing to land on. If you were to jump on it, you would just descend into nothingness. The gases inside this giant are highly pressurized, so without any gear, you would get crushed instantly, i.e., in less than 1 second. Just like Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are enormous balls of gas. Throughout the conference, she acted as the mouthpiece 🗣️ for the voices of local communities, Indigenous People, and coastal villages that are calling for ocean protection. The #ForTheOcean campaign holds governments accountable to their commitment to protect at least 30% of the ocean by 2030. So did UNOC deliver? At UNOC, several nations announced major Marine Protected Area (MPA) to advance 30x30. Including 👇🏽 🇵🇫 French Polynesia 🇵🇹 Portugal 🇨🇴 Colombia 🇬🇷 Greece 🇨🇱 Chile 🇹🇿 Tanzania And more! So what’s next? With the High Seas Treaty now entered into force (of which 30x30 is a key part) it is vital that its implementation is carried out in partnership with all stakeholders - especially those who will be implementing the treaty on the ground.
