Our bakery department is baking up a storm and we are looking for that perfect addition to join the team, as a bread baker. Experience in bread baking is essential and with a little guidance you will hit the ground running! Our bakery team pride themselves on the quality of products that are delivered each day from the department, therefore high quality and attention to detail are essential, you will also be willing to learn, be reliable (we are a small team and your absence would be missed), work well independently and in a small team environment. The role offers lot’s of future opportunities and growth for the right person. This position includes the following: * High quality bread baking * Making and baking of small goods - muffins, scones etc. * Running the ovens * Date checking / rotation * Following strict recipes * To communicate information in the appropriate manner. * Check and put stock away in its appropriate place. * To work to the Food Safety Program, and completing documents. * Not being afraid to jump in and help where required. To succeed in this role you will need: * Previous bakery experience * Previous bread baking experience * An eye for detail and able to maintain standards * Be prepared to work at pace as part of a busy team * Can work autonomously * Be customer focused * Strong communication (verbal and written) * Previous scratch baking experience essential * Be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg Working Days and Hours are: Friday: 3.00am - 1.00pm Saturday: 3.00am - 1.00pm Sunday: 3.00am - 1.00pm Monday: 3.00am - 1.00pm Please only apply if you are able to work all days and hours All applicants must be a New Zealand resident or have a valid Work Visa.
