Took “Wo bin ich?” a little too seriously, because I genuinely did not know where we were starting! It’s called method acting. 💁‍♀️ Thank you to @duration_films for the amazing action shot and of course to @viniciuscosta401 for being such an amazing collaborator 💜 #opera #operasingersofinstagram #soprano #instaopera #classicalsinger

Well, I was low anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️ freaking Händel and his A B A’ making me do coloratura math Bless @kyorgova for being my coach + therapist 💗 #opera #mezzosoprano #händel #nürnberg

This week I visited a performance of Wagner’s Götterdämmerung. (And yes… that’s my voice in the background when I’ve sung it myself 😉) When you know every single note of an aria — of an entire role — your experience in the audience changes completely. You don’t just watch… you feel every phrase, you breathe with the singer, you anticipate what’s coming. One thing stood out: 🎭 In this role, it’s crucial to manage your vocal and physical energy wisely. The final scene demands everything — musically, emotionally, and technically. And if you’ve spent it all too soon, there’s nothing left when it matters most. A reminder:True mastery isn’t just power — it’s pacing, presence, and patience. If you want to get my free masterbook comment YES below and I’ll send it to you! #Götterdämmerung #WagnerOpera #EvaLindqvist #OperaSinger VoiceCoacH

About a year ago I had the opportunity to revisit the operatic stage. In this updated libretto for Die Fledermaus, I did my best to flex a muscle that I hadn’t used in almost 20 years. My profound thanks to @voparts for the opportunity. #vocalteacher #vocalcoach #voiceteacher #singingteacher #opera

Opera vs Ballistic missiles 🚀 Soprano - Nofar Yacobi @nofar.yacobi Despite missiles in the sky, the Queen of the Night keeps going, and so do her beloved colleagues in this crazy production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute (Die Zauberflöte). Thankful to be part of an amazing, resilient and inspiring team. #opera #classicalmusic #viral #music #classicfm Cover Photo: Björn Hixkmann

I’m having SO much fun with Adele — she’s sassy, precocious, manipulative, and knows how to party. 😉 Here’s a little clip of her Act III audition aria, complete with a cheeky high E thrown in for good measure… (Don’t mind my serious face — we’d already repeated that ending three times in the Sitzprobe and I was locked in! 🫣) If you’re in New Jersey this weekend, come see Die Fledermaus! We open Friday and have a Sunday matinee too. DM me for details — I’d love to see you there! 💜💜💜 • • • Cover Photo by @lovelyntalented Cover Photo HMU @glowbyaffan Cover Photo Styling @marynakostogryz ••• #diefledermaus #johannstrauss #coloratura #coloraturasoprano

❌ Stop taking directions from people who’ve never walked your stage. Yes, great teachers don’t have to be world-famous performers. You can learn from many „voices”. ❗️BUT guidance from someone who actually sings on major stages hits different ✨ It saves years. It clarifies the path & moves careers forward. ➡️ If you want backstage truth and insider tips from someone who performs leading roles internationally and has also experienced a Festvertrag, click “Follow” I share what works in real life, not just in theory 🙌🏻🌟✨ #operasingersofinstagram • opera • opera singer • Festvertrag • freelance • opera career

As a singer you have to go with the flow often with short notice. This was extreme because I sang and performed this role for the first time. But I got help from the conductor, stage director assistant and many wonderful people at #deutscheoperamrhein #operasingersofinstagram #einspringen #freelancer #livinglife

🪈 This time last year we were about to open Die Zauberflöte @metopera. One of the things I love so deeply about Mozart and his work is that it is profoundly human. Such a joy to be able to look back on moments like these!! 🎥 Videography by Pete Scalzitti and Neville Braithwaite - @mrbenbliss #operasinger #magicflute #themetopera #soprano #mozart

If high notes, higher standards, and a little dramatic sufferig are your vibe…you’re in the right place 🤡 Opera isn’t (only) dying, it’s just doing a very long fermata on your drama, queen… and I’m here to hold it 💪🏻 Behind the scenes, on stage, occasionally unhinged, but always (or mostly…) on pitch ✨ ➡️ Follow for arias, chaos, and proof that vibrato is a personality trait 💃🏼 #operasingersofinstagram #operasinger • opera • opera career • Festvertrag • freelance • classical music

FRICKA Today it’s my debut in a role I have been so excited about! After loving singing Fricka in “Das Rheingold” last season, I have been waiting for this chance to return to the character again in “Die Walküre”, in one of the meatiest mezzo roles in the Ring Cycle and one of the greatest confrontation scenes in opera (and it’s been such a pleasure to sing with fellow Brits and fantastic Wagnerians @james.rutherford.baritone and @allisonoakessop). Toi toi toi to everyone on, under and behind the stage tonight @operamrhein - let’s go! 🎶 📸: © Matthias Jung 🎤: My first attempt to sing the role with orchestra at the Sitzprobe (at 10.30am! 🫩) #operasingersofinstagram #wagner #derringdesnibelungen #fricka #roledebut
