If you haven’t been able to control your children’s spacing, i get it. Whether it’s because your body just wasn’t ready when you were, or your previous family unit broke down & you met & moved on with someone else, whatever the reason, i can assure you that baby will be born at precisely the right time. I was petrified of having another baby and giving the boys a little sibling… i thought they’d be too old, but they aren’t, the spacing i was so worried about ended up being the sweetest blessing to the whole family 🩷
Enzo is the most perfect big big brother, he helps at bath time, he grabs the wipes when there’s been a poonami, he wants to constantly Cwtch her and loves feeding her, he is besotted - as is Brody, there may be a huge age gap, but they share their own unique and special bond with her & the age gap has been nothing but beautiful to watch 🥲🥰

To be fair we’ve permanently lost the 11 year old. He’s been in his own bed for a long time, but we’ve still got the 9 year old coming in 🙈 Abel was doing well in his own room until sickness before Christmas and we just haven’t got around to trying him back in it….truth is we don’t want to 🤣 When he’s not in bed with us, despite the extra room, I just don’t sleep as well and neither does he. He sleeps through mostly in our bed now, but wakes crying in his own room and it disturbs us all. As we only have a King size bed, Ian goes in with Maddie some nights if she comes in after a pretend nightmare 🙄 as hers pulls out into a double. Love us a game of musical beds 😅

Blake has been obsessed with Daisy Duck ever since she found my mums cuddly toy of her - every time we are at Nanny’s she runs to her bed to get Daisy and bring her to the mat to play.
Today that little toy came to life and honestly right there and then Blake felt all the magic that Disney brings to us all. My heart exploded, as did Daisy’s, Minnie’s, the cast and all our family. She was captivated and totally in love. I cannot tell you how many times she kissed her, but I just couldn’t find it in me to tell her that was enough.
I couldn’t believe how comfortable and happy Blake was - as if she’d known her for so long and I guess in a way she has, endless hours playing with her and proudly wearing her on her clothes and pointing attempting to say ‘Daisy’ in her own cute way 🩷.
Also fun fact, do you know Disney characters will always hug until you let go. They’ll never break that hug first. Blake hugged Daisy for so long at one point and my word, it was beautiful to see the moment not rushed at all.
Daisy and the @disney cast, thank you so much for taking so much time with our little girl. As a mummy my heart is full and I don’t think they’ll be another Disney memory able to top that one!! It means the world to her and us. It truly is the happiest place on earth xxx
