First thing I want to say is that I noticed the change in my face first. But when I looked back at my progress photos I could clearly see a massive difference in my belly too. I went from a size 14 to a size 12 and I am so glad I took pictures because the scale alone would never have told me that story. Here’s what I did once a week👇🏽 ✅ Russian twists — 3 sets x 12 reps ✅ Dead bugs — 3 sets x 10 reps ✅ Plank hold — 3 x 60 seconds ✅ Plank twists — 3 sets x 8 reps ✅ Farmers walk — 8 minutes I also walk for minimum 15 mins at an incline of 15 and average speed 3.3, 5 days a week. Can we talk about the farmers walk for a second because it’s so underrated it’s actually criminal. You’re walking with weights in both hands and your entire core is working overtime just to keep you stable and upright. It’s one of the best things you can do for your core and barely anyone talks about it. Also something that made a huge difference for me that had nothing to do with exercise. I started taking my bloating seriously. Drinking more water, eating more fibre and cutting back on sugary foods has massively helped my belly look and feel so much flatter. Sometimes what looks like belly fat is actually just bloating and nobody talks about that enough. #fitness #pcos #weightloss #core #coreworkout

Apparently, I’ve been doing all my workouts wrong for the last year… because I didn’t know that I have PCOS. Specifically, I have insulin-resistant PCOS, which explains why I experience things like facial hair, hormonal acne, crazy mood swings, a general feeling of tiredness, and the fact that I’ve been working out nonstop and have barely lost any weight. Apparently, when you do really hard workouts like HIIT or kickboxing, it actually makes losing weight a lot harder because you need more stress-free movement (think walking over running), at least according to my doctor. Also, I’ve been trying to lift weights for months now, and I always end up hurting my back or my hip, so I’m going to be taking a break indefinitely. But I won’t let that stop my fitness motivation because I want to be healthy, not just thin. I want to feel good. In just a few days of doing more PCOS-friendly workouts, like walking every morning, I’ve noticed such an insane difference in how I feel throughout the rest of the day. I feel more energized, I don’t need to take a nap after my workouts like I used to, and my cravings are less intense. This is just the beginning because I plan to take some new vitamins and supplements to help with my PCOS symptoms. So, if you are like me, in your 30s, and have a feeling that you have PCOS and back or hip problems, this is the account for you. I’ve always called myself plus-size fitness, but now I might need to change it to PCOS fitness. This is a new workout regimen where I do 30 minutes every single day, even if it’s just walking. I will be incorporating more weight lifting but using machines and on a much lighter scale to prevent injury. I hope you follow me along; I will always give you a list of everything that I’ll be doing. #PCOS #pcosfitness #insulinresistance #healthyliving #fitnessmotivation #pcosawareness #plussizefitness #workoutroutine #ellipticalworkout

PCOS has become India’s new epidemic—one in every five girls is affected. Symptoms include facial hair, hair fall, stubborn acne, and irregular periods. It starts when androgen levels (male hormones) surge in a girl’s body. The biggest root cause? Insulin resistance. Studies show 60-70% of PCOS cases have high insulin, triggering ovaries to produce excess testosterone. We’re a carb-heavy nation—parathas, rice, biscuits—causing constant sugar spikes that keep insulin elevated and fuel PCOS. The biggest mistake? Girls crash diet or do hours of cardio to lose weight. It sounds logical, but in PCOS, it backfires. Science calls it high adrenal stress. Starving the body spikes cortisol, which blocks progesterone and ramps up male hormones. Result: stalled weight loss and doubled hair fall. Solutions? • Do strength training—human trials prove it boosts insulin sensitivity. Focus on muscles over cardio. • Protein is king: Add it to every meal to stabilize blood sugar and control testosterone. • Stop scrolling till 2 AM—hormones repair only during set sleep times. I know. I look disheveled. Mind your business I tell my story to those who are willing to hear and receive it. So don’t come at me like I’m just bullying women. I’m not. I try to inspire and let them know it’s possible and what I did. So just pipe down, Karen. Anyway. I have PCOS and beat its ass back in 2019. I went from 160lbs to 118lbs in about 9 months. It took consistency, hard dieting, training, and cardio. I gain weight more easily compared to others but it’s combatted by what i continue to do. Stop telling people you hate what you see in the mirror and do something about it. I was that woman saying that to people and I finally said “enough is enough”. And now I’m a professional bodybuilder. Wild. THIS IS RAGE BAIT. I don’t ever judge anyone who is absolutely trying everything they can to lose weight but this is about those who SAY they’re trying but they’re really not. Like I did in the past. If you’ve ever felt like losing weight with PCOS is impossible, that’s because it can FEEL that way... especially if you’re following generic health and fitness advice that doesnt consider women with hormonal imbalances. Want to learn how to actually lose weight with PCOS? 👉🏼 Comment LEAN and ill send you our free training I break down our 4 step method for losing stubborn hormonal fat, that hundreds of women with pcos have used to finally lose weight, without counting calories or endless cardio. Because the “calories in calories out” advice doesnt work for women with PCOS (or other hormonal imbalances). You get stronger ✔️ Your mood improves ✔️ You feel accomplished ✔️ …but fat loss feels stuck. Because workouts build the engine — nutrition decides how your body uses it. Eating “whatever” (even if it’s not junk) can mean: • inconsistent protein • blood sugar spikes (especially with PCOS) • calories creeping up without realizing it • cravings that undo your consistency ✨ This doesn’t mean you need restriction. ✨ It means you need intention. When your meals are balanced — protein, carbs, fats — your workouts finally start working for you, not against you. Train hard. Eat smart. Get results. If you want a structured, step-by-step program that gets you strong, guides your nutrition, and still helps you lose that stubborn body fat… ➡️Comment “BALANCE” to sign up with me today! #balancedwithbecky #womenwholift #womensstrengthtraining #pcosweightloss #pcosfitness
If losing weight with PCOS feels impossible, it’s not because you’re failing — it’s because generic fitness advice wasn’t made for hormonally imbalanced bodies. We’ve seen so many women with PCOS tracking every calorie, walking daily, lifting weights, eating less… and the scale still wouldn’t move. Then they were told to try harder. But PCOS weight loss isn’t just “calories in vs calories out.” For many women, insulin resistance is the real issue — and when insulin isn’t working properly, fat loss stalls no matter how disciplined you are. The solution isn’t starving or overtraining. It’s improving insulin sensitivity so your body can actually respond. When you work with your hormones, weight loss becomes possible — without punishment, restriction, or burnout. You’re not broken. You just need the right approach. #pcosweightlossjourney #pcosfatloss #pcosinsulinresistance #pcoshormonehealth #pcosnutrition pcoswellness pcoshealing pcosmetabolism pcoscommunity pcosbody
After gaining weight rapidly after going on hormonal birth control, I’ve spent years trying to get the weight off. It’s easy to assume someone is in their situation from being lazy, glutinous, or they just gave up. But think twice before assuming that of someone. #weightlossjourney #fitnessmotivation #fitness #weightlosstips #motivation #pcos #insulinresistance #birthcontrolsideeffects
PCOS can feel unfair 😩. You can be eating Clean. Cutting sugar, carbs, dairy, and gluten. Hitting the gym. Still the weight doesn’t budge? That’s PCOS. You’re not crazy. You’re not lazy. You’re doing the work… and the scale still climbs. It’s not you. It’s insulin resistance, high cortisol, hormone chaos, and androgens running wild. So let’s stop punishing your body and start working with it. What actually helps: ➡️ Build meals with protein, fat, and fiber to steady blood sugar ➡️ Strength train 2–3x a week to build muscle and improve insulin resistance ➡️ Manage stress, because cortisol wrecks everything ➡️ Prioritize 7–9 hrs sleep, same bedtime and wake time every day You didn’t end up here overnight. You don’t have to fix it overnight either. Your body is not broken. You’re not alone. And you can feel good again. Drop a ❤️ if this hit home.
