Meet 8 bright and strong children from Gaza arriving in the US this Monday for medical treatment through PCRF, along with their companions.
These children embody strength, resilience, and hope. We are honored to welcome them alongside the @pcrf_chicago Chapter at O’Hare Airport on Monday and support them on their path to recovery. 💙
Two of the children will be receiving treatment in Chicago and staying with local host families, while the other six will be connecting to their final destinations in the US.

After completing his treatment in the US, brave 4-year-old Joud has returned to Egypt.
Last October, Joud was evacuated from Gaza through PCRF’s Treatment Abroad Program to receive critical medical care after tragically losing his brother and suffering a leg amputation in a bombing at Al-Shifa Hospital, where his family had sought shelter.
A heartfelt thank you to @pcrf_boston Chapter for supporting Joud and his mother every step of the way on their journey to healing.
In 2024, PCRF facilitated the evacuation and treatment of 169 children from Gaza.

I had the honor of attending the PCRF (Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund) @pcrf_columbus event last night to help raise money for a cause that truly touched my heart 🌿🕊️. Seeing the Columbus community come together to learn about and support a humanitarian crisis that has been ongoing was incredibly eye-opening.
Thank you to the PCRF team for hosting such a meaningful evening and putting together a powerful program filled with traditional dances and moving speeches from mission doctors who shed light on the devastating impact this crisis has had on innocent children.

We’re incredibly grateful to PCRF’s Treatment Abroad team, @mealsaorg, and our wonderful supporters in South Africa for making this life-saving mission possible.
Lina, a brave 17-year-old from Gaza, is the second patient to receive critical care in South Africa. She’s facing serious complications from an Israeli bombing, including a leg fracture that developed into avascular necrosis due to the crumbling healthcare system in Gaza. Lina will get the comprehensive treatment and support she needs in Centurion, Pretoria.

14-year-old brave Jana is celebrating her birthday while taking a major step in her recovery — completing the fitting process to receive a new prosthetic leg!
We’re also proud to share that she’s enrolled in a school in Los Angeles, determined to continue her education while she completes her treatment.
Jana was evacuated to the US last July through PCRF’s Treatment Abroad Program to receive critical medical care after surviving a devastating airstrike in Gaza. Since then, our @pcrf_laocie and @pcrf_sandiego Chapters have been taking care of Jana and supporting her journey to recovery.
