I brought my film camera to the stadium… and apparently, that wasn’t allowed anymore. 📸⚽️
Took my Pentax ME Super to the Stade Vélodrome, loaded with a roll of Kodak Portra 400.
There’s something about shooting film at a football stadium that just feels different. The lights, the crowd, the atmosphere, the colors… everything feels more alive when you know you only have a limited number of shots.
No screen.
No instant preview.
No second chance.
Just 36 frames to capture the atmosphere of Marseille.
Shot on Pentax ME Super + Kodak Portra 400 🎞️
Would you bring a film camera into a stadium? 👀

PENTAX Super-Takumar 55mm F1.8 — De-click Modification

PENTAX Super-Takumar 55mm F1.8 — De-click Modification
I removed the aperture clicks to make this vintage lens more practical for filmmaking.
Most photography lenses have click-stops at each f-stop.
That’s useful for still photography, but during video recording, those clicks can make smooth exposure changes difficult.
By de-clicking the aperture ring, the iris can be adjusted continuously and smoothly while filming.
A vintage photography lens, modified for modern filmmaking.
