đ¤â¨ Mentor Moments â¨đ¤
Itâs often the small moments you donât seeâŚ
the quiet encouragement, the extra time, the intentional words.
Our mentors arenât just here to teach a skill, theyâre here to notice, to guide, and to pour into each child right where they are. đ
Speaking truth.
Building confidence.
Modeling what it looks like to live with faith and integrity.
These moments matter more than we know.
Because when a child feels seen, supported, and believed inâŚ
everything begins to change. đĽł
This is what mentorship looks like here.
This is how we Play As One

đ¤ Trusted Mentors Matter
At Play As One, our mentors are more than coaches, theyâre leaders who invest in the next generation. Every practice, every conversation, every moment on the field or court is an opportunity to guide, encourage, and help students grow.
đThrough sports, music, and the arts, our mentors help kids build skills, confidence, and character while learning to trust God through challenges and victories alike.
These moments may seem small, but they shape strong athletes, strong leaders, and strong hearts. đ¤

Empower Kids To Thrive.
Thatâs not just a tagline. Itâs a responsibility.
Every child deserves a place where they feel seen, valued & capable. A place where effort matters more than talent. Where character is built through teamwork. Where confidence grows one practice, one rep, one high-five at a time.
Youth sports done right changes everything.
It teaches resilience when things donât go your way.
It builds leadership before a child even knows what leadership means.
It creates friendships, accountability & belief.
This is bigger than games.
Bigger than wins & losses.
Bigger than a scoreboard.
Itâs about helping kids discover who they are & what theyâre capable of becoming.
When we create safe, structured & inspiring environments, we donât just run programs.
We shape futures.
If you believe kids deserve more than sidelines & screensâŚ
If you believe recreation should build character as much as skillâŚ
If you believe the next generation needs mentors, not just coachesâŚ
Then youâre part of this mission.
Letâs keep empowering kids to thrive... on the field, in the classroom & in life. #TalkTeachPlay
Itâs bigger than the game âžď¸
Todayâs sportsmanship value is respect, and these athletes are learning what that looks like in real time.
Proud of this crew đ

One day theyâre the youngest on the field.
The next day theyâre the ones guiding the next generation.
Through the Elite Leadership Academy led by Co Head Director, Jessica Scott, athletes learn that leadership means more than playing well.
It means lifting others up.
This winter our athletes put that into action by mentoring younger players and leading by example.
This is what leadership looks like.
Focus on positive supportive language and praise the effort, not the outcome. Encourage our athletes to thrive both on and off the field.

Did you know that supportive parents can significantly increase a childâs enjoyment of sports? When we step back and encourage rather than coach, our kids are more likely to thrive and continue playing.
What are some tips or tricks you have used to help yourself enjoy as a spectator when youâve wanted to speak up and coach from the sideline?? Comment below!

Itâs opening weekend for our Junior Warriors! Please keep these player and fan expectations in mind! Games can and will be competitive, emotions will run high, and sometimes players, parents, and coaches will lose their cool. Our children are always watching. When players see adults responding calmly and respectfully, it reinforces the character traits weâre working to build in them. Nobody will remember or care about our teamâs win/loss record - but the players will remember how their coaches, teammates and parents made them feel.
The answer wasn't what most people think.

It's not that kids don't like sports. It's that sports stopped being fun. Too much pressure. Too much cost. Too little play.

At NAofA, we run programs built on a simple system â talk.teach.PLAY.â˘

Every program is designed so kids leave smiling, not stressed. That's how you keep them coming back â and that's how sports actually change lives.
What if the key to your team's potential isn't pushing harder, but serving better? Adopting servant leadership shifts the focus from authority to support, building trust that fuels athlete growth and changes team dynamics. Lead by serving, and watch everyone rise. #youthsports
