Early summer in Georgetown and I was definitely ready for a little treat ☀️🍦 Stopped by @yalagreekicecream for the first time and finally got to try their Greek-style ice cream. The texture is a bit different from your typical scoop — smoother, slightly stretchy, and super creamy. 🍦 What I tried: ✨ Pistachio — nutty, rich, and very satisfying. ✨ American Dream — fun, sweet, and indulgent. The staff were also really friendly, which always makes the experience better. Perfect little stop while walking around Georgetown on a warm day. Definitely a nice way to cool down during summer. #welove2eat #onebiteatatime

🍨🇬🇷 Have you ever tried Greek ice cream?? ✨Official @yalagreekicecream Taste Test! ✨🍨 My friend Chrys Kefalas from Yala Ice Cream shipped these incredible flavors to me from Georgetown DC to New Jersey because he wanted my honest opinion… and oh man, was this a treat! Every single scoop was packed with flavor and creativity. 😍🇬🇷 yes I scooped all 4 in one cone 🥰 And did you know he also has roots from Arkasa? Always amazing to see fellow Karpathians creating something so special! Here are my ratings: 🍪 Americanaki Cookie – Creamy, nostalgic, and loaded with cookie goodness. A perfect classic. 9/10 🌿 Mint Chip Mou – Fresh mint with rich chocolate chips, super smooth and refreshing. 9.5/10 ☀️ Aegean Sun (Greek Yogurt & Apricot) – Bright, tangy, and beautifully balanced. The Greek yogurt makes it extra creamy with that sweet apricot finish. 10/10 🥮 Nutty Cinnamon Kataifi – Absolutely incredible. Nutty, warm cinnamon, and that signature kataifi flavor that tastes like a Greek dessert in ice cream form. 11/10 🤯 Trust me… Do yourself a favor—follow Yala Ice Cream and order some to try for yourself! Modern Greek fast fine food has officially landed in Murray Hill 🇬🇷✨ @thegyroproject just opened a brand new location and this spot did not disappoint! From the incredible fresh flavors to the warm hospitality, liveliness, and fun atmosphere, it’s truly a full Greek experience. What we ordered:�• The platter (comes with Greek salad, fries & tzatziki) with mixed meats�• Build-your-own chicken souvlaki bowl loaded with all the sides and sauces�• And of course the viral froyo: TGP with Greek yogurt and the OG with vanilla soft serve You’re going to want to opa your mouth and try this Greek feast for yourself! 💙
