Instagram makes Palau look beautiful. Reality is even better. 😍🏖️ I’ve been lucky enough to visit some incredible places around the world, and Palau truly surprised me. The colors, the water, the Rock Islands… it’s one of those destinations that you have to experience in person to fully appreciate. If Palau isn’t on your bucket list yet, it probably should be. ✨Lei Making Season 🌱🌸🌺✨ Learned how to make leis because we have some special guests coming. This was fun to learn and I’m excited to make some more intricate ones in the future. ☺️ EDIT: When harvesting ti leaves, please only take what you need. This means only cutting the leaves that you need, and not the whole stalk. I cut the stalk with intentions of replanting them. Thank you! 🌱🌸☺️ #palau #micronesia #lei #tileaf

🇵🇼 Country no. 148: I finally made it to Palau! Some of you may have never heard of the country, but have probably seen this iconic photo before of the green dotted island in the middle of a crystal clear ocean. Well I just flew over it and it was absolutely mind-blowing amazing! 🙉😍 To me the no. 1 thing to do when traveling to Palau 🇵🇼. Scenic flights already start from $140 USD and are in fact cheaper than a day trip on a boat out to the islands. I enjoyed 45 minutes of pure joy and a lot of wow's! In fact what you see on the video is a Unesco World Heritage Site and although I always wanted to fly over it wasn't my first reason to travel to Palau… but more about that in my captions in my posts in the next days!
