Paper mache clay (glina) Sastojci: -wc papir -PVA ljepilo (Drvofix) -masa za gletanje (Jubolin classic) -oštro brašno Pribor za izradu: -topla voda -cjedilo -čaša za mjerenje -posuda za miksanje -mikser (po mogućnosti sa dvije vrste nastavaka) Omjeri: -1 + 1/4 čaše namočenog WC papira -3/4 čaše drvofixa -1 čaša glet mase -1/2 čaše brašna Postupak: Namočimo WC papir u toploj vodi, ocijedimo rukom kako bi izmjerili 1 i 1/4 čaše mokrog papira. Zatim vratimo papir u toplu vodu na cca 5 minuta. Ocijedimo papir, ali da ne bude presuh jer bi onda bio pretvrd. Dodamo ljepilo, glet masu i brašno, te miksamo. Po potrebi dodajemo brašno. Kada postane prečvrsto, možemo koristiti nastavke za tijesto za pizzu. Znamo da je gotovo kada se može napraviti kugla bez da se lijepi za ruke. Gotovu smjesu čuvamo u frižideru u čvrsto poklopljenoj posudi da ne ulazi zrak. Možemo je čuvati 5-6 dana ili zalediti ako nam ostane višak. Building the structure for my disco giraffe!!🦒✨ I almost bought a stencil for this project, but decided to trust my sketches and just build it from scratch. I’m really happy with how Regina turned out. A big thank you to @theboxery for sending me their water-activated kraft tape to try. Once I figured out how to use it, it made the structure super sturdy and let me skip an entire layer of paper mache before sealing everything with Mod Podge. Plus it’s more eco friendly than regular tape! Right now she’s just cardboard and paint, but soon Regina will be covered from head to neck in disco tiles. Stay tuned for the transformation. 🪩

i do not PLAY when it comes to structural stability 🤓 i get asked all the time if the shelves i build can hold weight bc when people hear that i make them out of paper, understandably they wonder how practical could they really be? this shelf isn’t even finished and can hold my entire body weight 🫧 not only can paper mache furniture be durable, but it can also be incredibly long lasting when treated properly! lasting literal decades… or centuries!! 💖 paperclay #sculpture #recycledart
