Move Over Trevor - Bruce is Making Moves on the Northern Beaches 🦈 I was meant to be spending the morning building sandcastles and playing in the waves with the little one, but the Westpac chopper began circling the moment we arrived. Thankfully I had the drone in the car with some juice left from the weekend 💪 Once again disappointed in @city_of_joondalup for their complete abandonment of the coast between Sorento and Mullaloo. It appears as though they closed the neighbouring beaches but as usual, Hilary's and Whitfords was left without any oversight and people left swimming in the water. Coogee Beach is already a great swim, but there’s a reason people keep coming back🩵 Just off the sand is the maritime trail, and about 25 metres out sits the Omeo Wreck, Perth’s most accessible shipwreck. No boat, no long swim, just walk in and you’re floating over a piece of history that’s been here since 1905. 🌊 The water’s usually calm, the visibility is good, and the wreck has slowly become part of the reef, with fish moving through the remains.
