Calling all Perth LEGO lovers! 🧱✨ Did you know there’s a hidden LEGO warehouse in O’Connor with over 27,000 different LEGO parts? It’s also home to what’s believed to be Australia’s largest BrickLink store. One of our favourite things here is the loose LEGO for — just $5 per 100g, and unlike buying random bundles online, you get to hand-pick every single piece. They also stock new and pre-loved sets, a fun minifigure wall, and even rare LEGO pieces you can order online. Our kids absolutely love choosing their own bricks and creating something from their imagination. I honestly love this even more than constantly buying new sets — it encourages so much creativity. @playandpaintco is officially open in Northbridge; and it’s a great activity for all ages and one to bring everyone together 🎨🫟 We’ve done many activities as a family, but pendulum painting is a first and we can’t wait to return back and try it again. Canvas prices range from $45-$389, so matter what the budget this will be a great activity for the books! Coffee + Nature Play 🛝 The best way to enjoy your morning and let the kids play 👧🏻 👦🏼 🧒 ⏰ Open 🗓️ 9am - 1pm Tues - Friday 8am - 1pm Saturdays We loved the indoor section here too - so much variety! The staff were very friendly & welcoming, it was our first time here but certainly got that community feel from the customers too 🤎 Fully fenced safe area to play Benches seated outside with shade / umbrellas 🌂 One for the Mums catch ups! I love it when venues get it right! Im calling it, this is the best playground/restaurant combo in Perth! Follow @family_friendly_perth for the best dining with kids. Save and Share this to your besties for an awesome day out. This brand new venue has the most epic huge playground fit with a real aeroplane! The inside dining blends a modern yet warm Australian theme and the outside dining is huge. I don't think I've seen so many seats before, it's awesome. There is a big sheltered seating area outside and also heaps of tables in view of the playground. They've really thought of everything! The menu is great. We had the reef and beef ( our steak was thick,big and cooked 👌), nachos and a pizza. The playground has- ✈️ an aeroplane that you can go inside of. 🧗 climbing tower 🛝 huge tunnel slide 🪵 balancing logs 🏖️sheltered sand pit 🦊flying fox 🪢 rope climb 🧸 toddler swings 👦 swings 🪹nest swing ⚫️ tunnels & more. 🍔 great menu 🍻 drinks ✅kids menu 🐶 dog friendly We spent hours here. I really didn't think after 3 years here in Perth, that our kids sounded any different and then I came across this video! And oh my - they sound so English!!! 🤣 And they're so little too 🥹 A lot can change in 3 years - it's wild but hearing how different they sound is mad!!! 😱 Anyone else think they sound extra British? 🙊 #expatlife #lifeinaustralia #lifedownunder #familylife #uktoaustralia

I think we’ve just found one of the easiest full-day adventures we’ve done in Perth. The boys have been asking to ride the double-decker bus forever, and it honestly lived up to the hype. They spent the whole trip upstairs, headphones on listening to the kids’ commentary, pointing out landmarks and getting excited every time we pulled into a new stop. We parked at Optus Stadium, which made the day so much easier. Plenty of free space for the kids to run around beforehand, no stressing about city parking, then we jumped on the bus from there. About halfway through we hopped off at May Drive Park in @kingsparkandbotanicgarden , grabbed a babyccino from Zamia Café, had our own little picnic and let the boys burn some energy on the playground before catching the next bus an hour later. A few things that made it even better: 🚍 Kids aged 4 and under ride free. 🎧 There’s a dedicated children’s audio channel with headphones. ⏰ Buses run every hour, so there’s no rush. 🎟️ Your ticket is valid all day, so you can hop on and off as much as you like. Even better, I booked through Viator via ShopBack. I used $8 in @viator credit I’d already earned, then received another $5.63 cashback through @shopbackau bringing my ticket down to just $41. With three kids (including the baby), this was one of those rare outings where I actually got to sit back, relax and watch them have the best time.
