One Year Later — Stronger, Softer, Grateful Last year, on this very date, I walked through an uncertain gate, To Jupiter walls, unsure and tense, With my Venus beside me — my quiet defense. Not knowing what life had kept on my platter, Every moment felt fragile, every breath mattered, Questions whispered, fears stood tall, Yet faith held gently through it all. A year has passed — and here I stand, With strength I never thought I’d command, Smiling softly, heart in grace, Gratitude written across my face. Thankful for patience the Almighty gave, For courage rising, steady and brave, For love that wrapped me warm and tight, For healing that turned darkness to light. For learning to value the gift of being alive, For normal breaths that help us survive, For watching our children laugh and grow, For moments we once didn’t even know. This year transformed me, deep inside, Where fear once lived, now hope resides, I walked alone to Gorai’s shore, And found a version of me — stronger than before. Where melting sands calmed shaken thoughts, And waves taught lessons quietly brought, That life will shift, and tides will flow, Challenges arrive, then gently go. Happiness comes, and sometimes leaves, Like drifting clouds in silent breeze, Nothing stays, no storm forever, But calm hearts make true warriors — stronger than ever. Today I stand, softer yet strong, Grateful for where I truly belong, With folded hands and heart so free — Thank you Almighty… for carrying me.
