If you haven’t tried our latest PhotoScan yet, you probably should🤩 Generation now takes about 2 minutes. That’s roughly 5× faster than before🥳 If you were used to the old ~10 minute wait… it honestly feels almost instant now⚡ And yes, unlimited scans and exports for everyone!
Your camera doesn't need to be as high resolution as your think in order to create a high quality print. The high megapixel cameras that are available now already can create very high resolution prints while maintaining a higher pixel density than the print itself, but that doesn't even take viewing distance into account. If you view a print from a couple feet away, your ability to perceive the quality of the image is lower, so you can get away with a lower quality print without it being noticeable. Because of this, we can make massive prints from images captured on most modern cameras. 45 megapixels is not a requirement. #learnphotography #photoprinting #photography101
Scanning my Nana's memories, one photo at a time . . Video description: Short video clips filmed at a local library. It opens on a black outdoor banner reading “Library” with the City of Onkaparinga logo, gently moving in the wind. The scene cuts to a white desk inside the library with a large black photo scanner scanning multiple black‑and‑white photographs at once. The photos show wedding scenes, including a bride in a white dress and veil. On the desk are loose photographs, cords, and part of a laptop. In the foreground, a hand wearing a black wrist and thumb brace holds a crochet hook and a partly made crochet bag in the colours of the nonbinary flag. The next clip shows photos being carefully placed into the scanner and aligned, with the brand name “Epson” visible. The camera then pans to a laptop screen showing the Epson FastFoto scanning software with a message indicating multiple photos have been scanned. The final clip shows more black‑and‑white photos being scanned, including images of a young woman standing in tall grass and an older woman standing by a low fence. The audio is natural and quiet, with scanner sounds, mouse clicks, and faint outdoor traffic. . . . #FamilyHistory #DigitisingMemories #SlowCreative @onkaparingalibraries

This little Canon Selphy printer is great. I still love making physical prints. #photography #portraits #wales
Rescuing a piece of family history by bringing it full circle: Analog ➡️ Digital ➡️ Analog. 🛑📸 When I found this medium format negative of my mom, I knew I wanted to handle the scanning process myself. Instead of outsourcing it to a lab, I digitized it right on my desk using my DSLR. Once I processed the RAW file, I sent it straight to the Canon SELPHY CP1300 to get a physical dye-sublimation print back in my hands. There is nothing quite like watching those color layers build up in real-time. 🗣️ How many of you actually print your digital photos, or do they just sit on a hard drive? Let me know below! #DSLRScanning #CanonSelphy #FilmPhotography #CameraHacks #VintagePhotography
