You fall asleep feeling comfortable…
and then wake up at 3am overheated, restless, and wide awake.
Night sweats and temperature changes are very common during perimenopause and menopause.
Many women are now exploring cooling pillows and breathable bedding to help regulate body temperature and sleep more comfortably. Read the full article on Lillepin
Are you waking up drenched at night? 💛
It’s not just a bad night.
And it’s not your imagination.
During perimenopause and menopause, fluctuating oestrogen can disrupt your body’s temperature regulation — triggering night sweats and sudden nervous system spikes that pull you out of deep sleep.
And once you’re awake… your mind often follows.
Please hear this gently:
You’re not broken.
Your body is adjusting.
Menopause is not the end of the road.
It’s the beginning of a new era… a new you 🌱
If hot flashes and night sweats are affecting your sleep, I’ve created a free Hot Flashes Guide to help you understand what’s happening — and simple, supportive habits that can help.
✨ You’ll find it in the link in my bio.
You deserve restful nights again

No wonder why we’re exhausted 😩
Perimenopause nights be like…😭
One minute you’re sweating, the next you’re freezing. Blanket on, blanket off, bathroom trips, and somehow sleep still feels miles away.
If your nights feel like this, you’re not alone. Hormonal shifts during perimenopause can disrupt sleep, cause night sweats, and leave you feeling exhausted the next day. The good news? With the right nutrition and lifestyle support, sleep can improve. 💛

Got a couple of dms asking for the answer to the question about whether cold showers before bed can help night sweats. The answer is no and I explain it in the video above. You’re better taking lukewarm shower 60-90 minutes before bed instead which may help.
Night sweats can be very debilitating and it is one of the symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause. Some non medication tips to help with it include:
• Keep your bedroom cool and well ventilated - cooling fans and cool packs may help
• Choose breathable bedding (cotton, bamboo or linen)
• Wear lightweight, moisture-wicking pyjamas
• Avoid triggers like caffeine, alcohol and spicy foods in the evening
• Stay hydrated throughout the day
• Try relaxation techniques before bed to help with stress - meditation etc
• Exercise regularly, but avoid intense workouts late at night

Whew 😩 menopause and sleep? They clearly don’t talk anymore 😂. You finally get comfortable, then here comes the heat — hot flashes got you flipping pillows, tossing sheets, and questioning your life choices 🥵🛏️.
It’s wild how your body can feel like a sauna one minute and an icebox the next 🧊🔥. And that “no effin’ sleep” struggle? Real 😴💨. The brain says rest, but the hormones got other plans. You start wondering if this is just stress or if your body’s sending out its official midlife memo 👀✨.
If you’ve been feeling lost in the late-night sweats and sleepless cycles 🥱💦, the free WhatThePeri? guide breaks it all down 💅🏾💨. It explains what’s really happening when perimenopause starts — before menopause even hits — so you can stop guessing and start understanding 💕. The link’s in my bio, sis 🔗🔥.

Can we talk about something? Because waking up exhausted after a full night of sleep is NOT normal, and I'm tired of us acting like it is.
👉 Save this if you needed to hear it! Comment SLEEP below and I'll send you the full episode!
If you've been telling yourself "this is just what getting older feels like" I need you to stop that right now. Because that's what I told myself too, and it kept me stuck for way too long.
Sleep affects literally everything. Your mood, your weight, your energy, the way you show up for your people. It's not just about feeling rested, it's so much bigger than that.
And the most frustrating part? You can actually fix this. But not by pushing through and hoping it gets better on its own. There are real reasons this is happening to your body, and once you know what they are, things start to shift.

REAL TALK ABOUT SLEEP + HOT FLASHES
These pajamas from @adomanisleep are amazing (and the matching pieces I’m pairing them with) are seriously changing my nights.
If you’re someone who wakes up sweaty, overheated, or just never truly cool, these are made differently thermoregulating, moisture-wicking, and cool to the touch so night sweats don’t steal your sleep.
They’re crafted from natural, breathable fibers (no polyester or synthetic cling) that help evaporate sweat + soothe hot flashes and they are gorgeous enough to lounge in all day.
For us going through menopause/perimenopause, good sleepwear makes a real difference.
These feel soft, airy, and finally let me cool down instead of wake up dripping.
If you struggle with night sweats or just want pajamas that actually work, this might be your new sleep staple.
