Today I had the pleasure of working with this very lovely lady who came in wearing a wig after cutting about 5 inches off the front of her hair on impulse. She had her mind set on getting a pixie, but as we talked, I explained that with her very thick hair, she originally booked for a cut and style however, a relaxer was truly needed to achieve the sleek, sassy pixie look she was envisioning and to make sure it lasts.
After a quick call to her mom shoutout to Mom, who was a former pixie girlie herself she was encouraged to trust the process… and look at the outcome! She absolutely fell in love with her transformation, and honestly, so did I.

The one tool I swear by for effortless volume & texture, that you probably already have at home.
If your blowout falls flat on short to medium length layered hair, this diffuser step changes everything.
At the very end of my blowout, (on dry hair) I use a diffuser to create lift, texture, and movement without frizz or stiffness.
It’s one of my favorite volume tricks for layered cuts that need body but still want a polished finish.
I’ll send you the exact diffuser I’m using plus a few universal diffuser options that work with most dryers.
